  1. Die Gazelle hat auch ein 2 Mann Pit und funktioniert wunderbar in DCS. Wemm dann noch an Multicrew weiter gebastelt wird, sollte das gar kein Problem mehr sein. ;)
  2. our server is down because currently 2.0 is not stable enough in MP....
  3. It would be really nice if there were AI awacs in the K.O. mission. Then also M2000C pilots which do not want to use this "arcade IFF" have something to work with...;)
  4. In MP it seems if you increase or reduce your fuel it doesnt affect your wheight. e.g.: if you set 100% fuel in mission editor and reduce it on the farp to 20% it seems still to be the weight of 100% already known issue or do you need a track file ?
  5. I know a current EC-135 pilot who bought the Gazelle module 1-2 weeks ago. Now it is his favourite DCS helicopter. Maybe the FM isn't 100% perfect but it could be closer to the real thing than you thought.

  7. Good news about the new tree system. Hopefully. Is it also planned that with 2.5 ( or already before) all the triggers of the mission editor will work...?

  9. The current FM update is a step in the right direction but you are right there is still room for improvement. Your track file shows very well that e.g. tail rotor roll effect is missing.

  13. Question about DCS development and communtiy "participation" is an old one. ED has its own priorities and my lesson was lower your expectations.... drastically. ;) +1 Unfortunately DCS open beta releases are not as successful as I was hoping before. For example broken triggers in final releases are in my opinion a no-go.

  17. I fly almost only Nevada and Gazelle in DCS (collidable trees! ;)). You are right level of detail is nice. But a big letdown for me is in many areas (where I like do create some combat missions for our helicopters etc) level of detail is far from good. I was also hoping for a new FLIR simulation with the new DCS renderer... So I would say it is not wrong to buy nevada in a sale. (at least in its current state)
  18. My idea: it would be nice to use the NADIR as a recon tool. If you have the viviane on your target you have distance and direction displayed. Now you can show your own position in the nadir and draw a line on the F10 map. So you will get the coordinates where viviane is looking at. With these coordinates you can create a new waypoint in the NADIR. Waypoint 5 for example. Some "aux" functions of the NADIR are not simulated (for example "aux + 9"). The devs could use "aux + 9" as recon function. So now if I select waypoint 5 on the NADIR and press "aux + 9" a script will trigger the coordinates of wp 5. It could create a trigger zone at these coordinates or if these coordinates are in a preset zone it could activate a trigger in the mission editor etc.... This way it would not hit the performance because it will only run the recon script if you press "aux + 9". It should be also work without problems in MP.

  20. Thanks for the info. It would be really strange if such a forward slide would happen in RL with almost no possibility to prevent the movement. Anyway the FM is great IMO and this forward slide issue should be easy to fix.
