  1. Just thought I'd add my two cents. Just set up a quick BFM mission in the F-16C against two F-14Bs (both on Excellent difficulty); merge was at 25k ft @ 450knts Was really impressed that both Tomcats didn't just fly in an endless loop and that fighting against them both was a real challenge. Loved it! Anyone else notice anything similar?
  2. So you’re saying there’s no cross-eyes effect when you use your old headset?
  3. Hi All, Long story short, I've just purchased an Anycubic Chiron (Should be here within the week) and am looking for some advice in how to get the best out of it. For my first couple of prints, I'm looking to build a switch housing for the Hornet's right side consoles (ECS, INTR LT etc); planning on using PCFlights panels. Since I'm not planning on printing anything fancy just yet, I'd like to know how to get the best quality prints possible given everything being printed is either a right angle or a straight line. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Great, thanks!
  5. What is the binding/behaviour for switching between TMS/RWS and JHMCS on/off, TMS Aft/Down?
  6. How did the test work for 4 jsows on four different pylons? I thought both TOO modes applied globally to all stations?
  7. Is anyone having any difficulty in getting the TGP on the F16 to cage to bore sight? After selecting a target, pickling and then pulling off target once I’ve seen whatever was on the ground be blown out of existence, I cannot get the TGP to cage to bore sight. When I click the cage/uncage button, the TGP sensor just keeps moving from left to right in a sweeping kind of fashion. I assume it’s looking for a target or it’s trying to seek to a waypoint?
  8. That’s makes sense but surely that means that the waypoints entered in the mission planner would feed in the Hornet via the data cartridge?
  9. Spent the last 1.5hrs trying out TWS etc, the MFDs are defo sharper
  10. Hi All, Bit stuck on trying to work out what the procedure is for inputting coords into JDAM. I have two GBU31s on my Hornet, each on a different pylon but cannot manage to get them to hit separate targets that have been waypoint designated from the mission planner (that are close to each other). Steps 1) Select A/G mode 2) Select JDAM from SMS 3) Select JDM DSPLY 4) Select both JDAM under QTY 5) Select MSN 6) Select PP1 7) Waypoint designate from HSI 8) STEP for additional JDAM 9) Select next waypoint and designate again Observe that the first waypoint designation has been overwritten. I also think that PP mode cannot be used as its impossible to enter coords for it? I assume I'm doing something wrong?
  11. Yea, I only tried the Hornet to see what lighting changes they made (to the dials) and I noticed how they look a little sharper when the console lights are on
  12. Thanks for the response and I guess this is what I’m getting at. I’ve tried this multiple times but coords keeping being overwritten. Are the steps to the new/current process written down anywhere?
  13. Didn't Wags also state that (due to community backlash) they'd think about adding the ability to attach the TGP on a cheek station even though it was unrealistic?
  14. Hi All, Is anyone able to provide accurate steps to employing JDAM using dgst waypoints from the mission planner/map? I understand ED changed the TGP/TOO/PP/JDAM impl logic recently (as far as I can see, there's been no official word from Wags and his videos are still up on his Youtube feed detailing the now 'incorrect' procedure) but I'm still unable to correctly employ the weapons. Put simply, I have 2 GBU31 on separate stations and when using the QTY option in the JDAM display mission planner to 'combine' the drops, I cannot get the bombs to hit different targets when designating different waypoint targets by 'stepping' through the stations; they both hit the same target. Does anyone know what the, now corrected, procedure is? Or is there a bug lurking somewhere?
  15. BulkaCv, bit late in asking but how did you get your 3D prints so smooth? Did you polish/sand them after printing?
  16. Ranma13 how far did you get with this? Any updates would be appreciated!
  17. Hi All, Long story short, the stores release/pickle button on my VFX grip doesn't seem to work properly (using it with a T50 CM2 base). For the last hour I've been pulling my hair out trying to troubleshoot why the F14 wouldn't drop any of its bombs; went through all the settings with Jester). Turns out the stores release button on my VFX grip isn't working properly even though it toggles on/off correctly in Windows device manager and I can bind it in DCS. I'm pretty sure its something to do with the button itself as when I bind the stores release action to another button on the grip (DLC activate for example), the bombs release fine. Any ideas? Do I have to remap the button with the Vipil software? Cheers
  18. Looks like the quality of your prints has improved over time? Which 3D printer are you using? I’m looking to pick one up for myself soonish
  19. Totally, that looks awesome.
  20. Ok great! :) Cheers
  21. Hi All, Great work!! Would I be correct in thinking that only the upper instrument panel has the STL files currently available? Can’t seem to find them for any other cockpit area
  22. Thanks but I don’t think that was what I was asking for
  23. Care to share a link plz?
  24. Hi All, Long story short, I'm part way (no idea how I'd ever measure being truly complete) though a VR build for the F/A-18C Hornet and have encountered a bit of an issue. Whilst flying around the other day testing out my latest add on (Leo Bodnar based button box that mimics the switches etc on the left wall), I realised its a little bit difficult to find the correct switch to toggle. I'm sure things will improve with time (muscle memory) but until that happens, is there anyone out there who has made switch covers for the flaps, landing gear, launch bar etc? Possibly using a 3D printer? Failing that, does anyone know where I can buy the aforementioned covers? I'm pretty close to buying a cheapish 3D printer and making my own but thought I'd put this feeler out there before I do Cheers
  25. The ‘hard’/heavy springs and they’re a full 8 counter-clockwise rotations from full tight
