Can anyone more skilled than me and talented make the skins for Romanian Team of Yakers called "Iacarii Acrobati"? It's true their Yaks are modified a bit (retractable gears and some other stuff) but they are still Yaks52s and they are kind of cool. They have 3 planes. Vsync On =30fps when 60 is not sustained. Try Vsync Off and limit FPS to 58 in autoexec.cfg.

What you say is like you've payed a mcdonalds fellow customer for a menu and you are greatful he is going out of his way to cook you some food... But you just fail to observe he is actually leaving the restaurant with your money... Smiling. So we should lean back and take it easy since C101 was released in january 2015. We might just as well wait an F1 from somebody else... in 5 years. no kidding.

Think about it this way... you have around 5000 people maybe that really don't give a darn about a map being bigger than 400x400km and they have serious arguments for this. These people usually would pay premium for that. Then you have some hundred of thousands if not more people that can't care less of a detailed sand dune somewhere on this planet... they want the whole planet... these people also pay... maybe not all premium... but they are a lot more. Throw in that each map divide the online community like a very fine knife. And knowing the future is online (hint... the new activation scheme) you may have a glimpse at the requirements for existence of future.

Sounds very promising. Remembers me of IL-2 online wars :)

is not an investment... you just bought something... you know... like a TV... maybe not the best, maybe not perfect but for sure not one that brings you money.

I have G940 (FFB off or on for even more extra wildness) and it was like that since the beginning for me. That's why it didn't convinced me as a solid FM. Its true I gave up long ago and didn't tested it after last patches.

is normal on SSD drives... is how they work... sometimes they keep a lot of data that was deleted/moved for a while and the size is reported "wrong" by the SO. Once some time passes or you keep deleting the drive (overwriting, etc) it will show correct size and remove the redundant data.

I think this should be the official statement from the dev regarding this issue. :)

Briefly return to mig21 but continuous selling these days is not really fashionable. The expected fixes and improvements I suppose are scrapped and the module will just drag along in EDs store?

Everything moves to 2.5. 2.5 is an upgrade to game (graphic and not only) engine not a gimmick to ask again for money. Nevada, Normandy, (new) Caucasus and all the modules and campaigns will work under 2.5. 1.5 will stop being supported 2.2 will stay just until 2.5 will get from Beta to Main/Stable/Release (whatever the name is used)

I think in english you have this separation. In other languages is "Air Acrobatics"... french - acrobaties aériennes italian - acrobatica aerea spanish - acrobacia aérea portuguese - acrobacias aéreas romanian :P - acrobatie aeriana etc basically aerobatics is just a shortening of the expression.

as the title say. Currently if you buy the module you get to have the wallpaper with that module in DCS main Menu. That is very nice... for owners but the owners already payed so... But why keeping it away from people who haven't bought it yet? Is not like they see it and they can't have it also is not really a part of the module itself. If you make available the feature for everybody... then people that haven't bought one module could set the wallpaper theme from that module and now seeing it... potentially in a repeated fashion as they start and stop DCS World... the chances that they might like the module more and buy it increases... from the base line which is... they don't get to see the wallpaper. This brings us to part two... wallpapers should be really good and maybe contain in the theme more than just one picture so people can see the aircraft in different perspectives (exterior and maybe interior) and of course make the possibility that the wallpaper is fixed for people that might not care about this. Something simple like putting 3 small buttons in the interface << ... || > ... >> P.S. I am aware that anyone can change the wallpaper and put whatever they want... Just saying as a marketing gimmick for ED.

+1 Mig21 has a trick for that by that electric switch for AB but it would be nice to have better implementation.

+1 Not only that DCS looks good but is different and power hungry usually thus possibly making easier to differentiate closed matched hardware. Plus free advertising...

yes for GA and transport no for another prop trainer for some fancy military progression etc. we all jump into F18 when is out and figure it out by our self. :)

@wavn 29.99 $ - for sure it might have pre-order sale and after release sales but still... 30$ could be a wall to tall to climb for many... especial new people. Not obliged (?) to buy but the Mig21 is "obliged" to wait. Other than that... is a bit of a gamble on new customers rather than old customers.

A question about the new mode switch from throttle. Will this switch add new DirectInput buttons or it will simply add the possibility to map keyboard combos to the buttons for mode 2, 3 4 etc? I wish you could have simply new direct input buttons (even axes) instead of mapping keyboard buttons.
