  1. Are you in Stable version? You have to be in Open Beta to get today's update.
  2. It could be they mean damage to pylons/mechanisms/armament if you have bombs on and you over G the aircraft. The plane maybe fine but all the kit hanging off it suffers as well, might not release. It's not all about A/A... :music_whistling: There are max speeds for certain loadouts as well, although I haven't seen any mention of that yet.
  3. You will find the ignore list under "User CP". Pic attached. It is quite handy for those very few special people. :D
  4. Lol'd... :megalol: BTW you owe me for a new keyboard, coffee went everywhere.
  5. Beginning to think the same Airhunter. I can always fly the F-16 in another sim.
  6. If he was landing or practicing AAR then of course you are correct. But since he was practicing bombing the CAT I-III switch seemed the most relevant to his OP and comment.
  7. @Notso, That is pretty weird alright. I did want to point out that in your OP you said; "I thought I must have accidentally hit a button that limited the Gs but there is no such thing that I'm aware of." There is a switch that does limit the amount of G's you can pull when you have a load of ordinance. It's the CAT I and CAT III setting. Generally, CAT I is with a A/A load-out (missiles and centerline tank IIRC) so a light A/C. And, CAT III is anything over that, typically an A/G mission. However, CAT III would not limit you to that degree. I think it's a 4.5G limit. You will get a caution light if it's set incorrectly. Although that may still be WIP.
  8. Hi Avarax, Had a quick look before heading off to work and I see I had an extra 0 in one of the settings of the Lua. Sorry about that. Try the one below. Hornet.lua
  9. Sounds a bit like you didn't have the resolution set correctly or your Monitor Lua didn't match. I've attached two files for you. The PDF is a sketch showing how to calculate your resolution and where to enter that in DCS options/Hornet. I'm presuming the main monitor is the larger one. If not then you will have to tweak the Lua. Which leads to... The Lua file is to config the monitor for exporting the DDI's. Place the Hornet.Lua file in here; X:\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup folder. X is your drive location for DCS. Once that is done go back to Options and in the Monitor drop down box select "Hornet" which should show up now. When you select it, the screen will go blank for a second or two then DCS will restart with the new resolution, aspect and the extracted DDI's (once you are in game). Hope I haven't missed something. Good luck. And do check out some of those suggestions the others mentioned. Monitor setup.pdf Hornet.lua
  10. What... No patch today? Just some levity and to bump the thread to re-trigger those that are really upset... :music_whistling:
  11. At work right now but if you haven't got an answer when I check later I'll pass on some info. Also, check the Input - Output thread. A search should bring up lots of "How to" threads. Last, why are you using the small monitor as the primary?
  12. Hornet here in DCS, Viper in the other sim. I have the DCS Viper but it's too frustrating to fly right now, I'll check it out once it's feature complete.
  13. I concur Top Jockey, the Hornet looks great, the "Fugly" award for fighters definitely goes to the F-35 and F-22.
  14. Nice bit of bug reporting. You should teach the complainers on the Viper and Bug threads how it's done. They just whine (alot) and then when asked for a track file they throw a fit. I suspect they don't know how to find the track files let alone upload them...
  15. The ones that now realize they can't handle the beta issues... of which there seems to be a few.
  16. Yes it's certainly disappointing to hit the the Cage/uncage button with the gear down and you still have to peer through the "clutter".
  17. As I understand it. No slave function with the JHMS. Just the HUD, TGP and eventually A/G radar.
  18. Of course. My intention as well.
  19. Hmmm... you might really be a manager. That's quite the collection of "management speak" cliches you've trotted out in this thread. :smilewink:
  20. Rut-Roh! He's poked the bear. Prepare to defend yourself Axel40. Training missions work well BD. Augmented with Chuck's guides you can't go wrong.
  21. I would respectfully suggest you recheck, just to be sure.
  22. Perhaps Falcas could develop a DCS version of Weapons Delivery Planner (WDP). That would be awesome. It would be a great add-on like TacView.
  23. Sarge55

    Missing updates

Very sad to hear that, hope the best for them and their families.
  24. This would be great if it gets done. That and sorting a few of the previously mentioned bugs as well. I doubt we'll ever see a modernized version of the F-5 unless a 3rd party decides to take it on.
