  1. Hey WarriorX, long time no see. The link to the "Radio Tutorial" is invalid. I get the Mission Card etc but not the radio one.
  2. I think you will find that the X with a dot in the center is your CCIP pipper. The Circle around it is for ranging.
  3. You can also set a default view. Do not use your TIR initially to set up. Enter the cockpit in the cold and dark instant action. Use the NumPad 2 and 8 to adjust up and down. And NumPad 4 and 6 for left right. Finely, use the * and / keys to adjust the zoom (FOV) you want. If you get off set or want to go back to centered use NumPad 5. In order to save this as your default view Hold R/Alt and hit NumPad 0. This will set your default view. Use the ENTER key to return to default view if you've gone off somehow. Once you have it set go back into game and try it out. So combined with what rob10 said regarding assigning a button to centering your TIR you should be set. I also set a button for pause in TIR for adjusting radios and such. You might also find setting "Snap Views" helpful. Especially the CDU, Radio Panel and Front Panel. Little more involved to set up but worth it (if you have a couple of toggles available).
  4. Sorry for Delay EasyEB. I was happy with the A-10C seat position so didn't change it but did save the FOV zoom to the default setting no problem. I'll give it a try next time I'm on and check.
  5. I set the waypoint at ground elevation in the ME when I create the waypoints. No faffing about at all. If I use someone else's mission just pop it open and adjust. Hate those one's floating in the air. And no I don't need them to remember my ingress/egress altitudes.
  6. Perhaps Ziptie could provide a link to the answer he alludes to or expand on his reply.
  7. To adjust you point of view hold R/Shift + R/Control and use NumPad 2 to move your view down. (8 = Up, 4 = Left and 6 = Right). Once done hit R/Alt + NumPad 0 to save the default view.
  8. Chuckled when his backup compass foamed up when he fired the gun in that video. Hmmm.... I wonder if the DCS one does. Off to check.
  9. Thanks Panther. Thought it was a standalone. Sorted
  10. Same issue as BuzzU. Controls checked out fine in device properties and in DCS options. External view shows the elevators etc moving in reaction to stick movements. No double bindings. She just drops out of the sky. Time to do the repair, re-install, etc. voodoo dance I guess. If no luck :( I'll submit a track etc after. Edit: Just saw in another thread that you have to have the old A-10C module installed which sounds a bit odd. I did uninstall the old one as I hadn't intended to fly it in the future. I'll give that a try if all else fails.
  11. Sweet. Thanks Chuck.
  12. I got one of those to.
  13. I don't think SEA mode has been implemented yet.
  14. So basically as I understand it. In the absence of specific Intel on a target/area it can come down to; Find blob with A/G radar, slave TGP to blob for VID, and attack or not (based on ROE). I doubt there is a situation where you would be authorized to attack an unknown/unidentified "target" these days. Still, a very useful tool for searching a wide area fairly quickly to help focus other sensors in our fictional conflicts.
  15. That fixed it. V1.1 working great. Thanks again for the mod.
  16. Could your Brightness, Contrast or Symbol switch be duplicated in your control settings under F-18 so that they go to max?
  17. This is a "Massive" improvement, a true work of art. Many thanks Elphaba. Edit - Just noticed something. If you put the EW page on the AMPCD the circles don't show up. Text etc is all there but not the concentric circles.
  18. Absolutely. Great idea.
  19. Very nice. Looking forward to the release.
  20. I'm with Jasonbirder, it's a forgone conclusion that when they introduce the A-10C II it will break the the A-10C module. That will be very disappointing. No problem with new variants, they just have to figure out how to introduce them without trashing the rest of the sim.
  21. Third
  22. The "Nub" is definitely a sub-standard slew control. I now use the Delta Sim slew which is brilliant. However, I used it (the nub) for many years with the above settings quite adequately.
  23. I use the in game axis tuning settings. Joy_X Deadzone 5 Saturation_Y 60 Joy_Y Deadzone 5 Saturation_Y 60 No change to curve or Saturation_X. If you find it too slow then adjust the saturation up. Say to 70 or 75.
  24. Well duh! We are in the DCS: F-5E Tiger II » When can we expect critical bugs to be fixed? :music_whistling:
