  1. Early access... You are a Beta tester of sorts. Either fly as is or something else in the meantime. I suggest you not buy early access in the future if you don't have the patience for it.
  2. The Sidearm is not really for SEAD missions. It's an "Oh S**t" button for CAS aircraft where there is a risk of radar controlled AD. Good fun though in a simulator. Although facetious, I believe one of the points VFA-81 Fix made might be somewhat accurate. - If the Sidearm had a 50% Pk it would still be in service
  3. My method as well, works great.
  4. Wasn't he at a trade show? Doubt he had time to do an update then prepare for and attend a trade show.
  5. FPAS will give you the best climb rate to altitude for your flight plan. Flight plan will dictate the speed on each leg or fly leads wing. If you are doing join up after T/O then it would be pre-briefed for location (ie WP 1, 30 deg L wheel), altitude (5000') and speed (350 kts). After join up, fly leads wing. Just how we do it (none of us are even remotely Navy pilots) gets us going though. If you want real F-18 pilot feedback go here. https://discord.gg/td9qeqg Ask for Lex
  6. Wait for the F-16. Then have the Hornet as a back-up.

Same, I have my Warthog plugged into the MB ports but run everything else off of a powered USB hub. No issues after that.
  8. Sort the second target to your wingman.
  9. No need. Look at the bottom of your HSI when you are on the BRC. Simples...
  10. I believe those type of contacts would be ambiguous / unknown and would require visual ID.
  11. Thanks for the update Chuck. Downloading now.
  12. Now that would be good and still have the "Game" mode for the airquakers.
  13. I have to agree with the other posters and your wife. Go straight to the Hornet, it's pretty easy to fly. (Disclaimer: Based solely on my sim experience I have no idea what a real one flies like.) However, the systems are getting more and more complicated as it is updated but that's mostly "button-ology".
  14. Ordered. Great looking product Deltaalphalima1, looking forward to using it.
  15. Not quite sure if OP is trolling or not.
  16. That is good news. Thanks for the update Decoy.
  17. If there was a significantly discounted "RIO only mod" I might consider it. To costly to just sit in the back seat... :music_whistling:
  18. There has been a couple of updates since I last did the mission but it did work fine.
  19. I have the same issue with my thumb switch and was equally surprised at the replacement cost. It seems to be a blatant rip-off by including parts that are not required. I was able to fix mine by pulling out the switch and then opening it slightly and blowing it out with a shot of canned air. All the soldering seemed OK so didn't touch the wires. Having said all that I have owned mine since 2010 and use it daily (retired a few years now) so it does get a lot of use. Certainly not junk, it's dead center still and with the occasional re-grease is quite good.
  20. You think the TGP for Hornet wait is long? Pfffttt... I've been waiting for an A/G radar since Lock-On came out. And, I have a bad feeling it's going to be a lot longer yet, sigh.
  21. Can you move it to a second screen. I export my MFD's etc to a second screen and I have space, is it drag and drop?
  22. Nice reference to Gilligan's Island though.
  23. Thanks very much White Wolf appreciate it.
  24. Thanks Chuck.
  25. Nice, Thanks =DECOY=
