  1. Isn't there an issue with "Synchronize" Hotas at start up of the Sim? And if it continues should he delete the settings file so it can be regenerated upon the next start up of the software? Maybe even the saved game folder?
  2. This is in the latest Beta or another ver. of the Sim.?
  3. Open your saved mission in the "Mission Editor". It seems to convert some file that is incorrect with missions created in other ver. of the Sim. If U have trouble with it again please list hardware and OS. in your next post.
  4. At 2.4 you are below requirements for the Sim. I don't see any mention of the Video card in that list? Many do run on system with hardware even lower than yours. So I wouldn't stop on that account. Make sure you update the Redistributed Files for DCS. and make sure you allow DX9 to install. Some cancel it thinking DX11 is enough, It isn't they are separate programs both are needed for gaming. Latest Redistributed Files are here, from Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2019667
  5. What ver. is this?
  6. What ver. are we talking about?
  7. Ahhhhh. Simple Logic what a wonderful way of thinking. I agreed and was going to suggest the same. Fan turned up, Problem goes away. No need to look further than there. Another User found good results by turning off "Dual Monitors" in the NVidia control panel.
  8. Nice Find, +1 Rep. Inbound for that one. Adding that info. to Mack's Quest for better FPS. would be an awesome (Potentially anyway) addition to our "Quest" for better frame rates. Take a look here.
  9. Can U switch out hardware with a friend? It helps with the "Process of elimination thing. I am thinking the GPU or the RAM. I know U ran memtest, it doesn't always catch everything. and the "None Page Area" sounds like it. This is also a HDD error as the "Instruction" sent through RAM gets Processed by the HDD when needed, i.e. Page File/Cache. Getting the BSOD in IE. is also a clue to potential HDD or RAM.
  10. Nice Info. DTWD I learned a lot in that post. +1
  11. Hideki Nice System. You did make sure with each frps measurement U placed the Sim in the exact same situation as the prior measurements? I would guess so, U don't seem to be a novice at this. Don't get to caught up in the numbers, as long as it is playable just enjoy the ride. Why is your Ram at 1333? Stability thing? Not that it would make much difference in the Sim, just wondering.
  12. If I remember correctly a stack hash is a matter of the files in the program being truncated, among other things. Have you done the steam check yet? Right click DCS in the User interface and click Properties U can check the program there. It uses a ver. of Hash checking.
  13. Distortion isn't usually a matter of Bit Rate. It doesn't do this in other settings?
  14. :) Jay...........He is just a pumped up youngster. Do the "Emergency Jettison" thing over the city........U might get lucky. I will say Dam when U say J.......any day of the week kid. LOL
  15. Why are you uninstalling DCS? The second part of your statement is confusing.
  16. If U don't mind, would U run the Steam Ver. with the new files from Microsoft to see how it goes. Other users with this issue may find it helpful to know if it fixes this error. It is Up to U of course.
  17. Don't forget to use the "User Created" Tutorials. Like Excessiveheadspaces' He goes well beyond the Manual in his lessons on the Targeting Pod. A must for anyone just learning the Sim. Just do a search for Him on Youtubes sight and there are others. I thought someone created a sticky with this information? Take a look at this post for user created videos and tutorials. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=75982
  18. Butt Kicker is Cool................ I don't "Thump" much.........But when I do...........I prefer the "Throne Thumper". Stay Thirsty My friends.
  19. I don't think I would be able to see at that resolution on my system. 1920x1080, 1920x900 on second monitor. Use a setting with a higher second number. If u have an Nvidia Card DSR is awesome.
  20. Why don't U install the stand alone ver. of DCS.? U do not need steam to run the Sim. in the DCS World program and few users are experiencing issues with it now. If U prefer the steam ver. of the Sim. then I think U need to try adding the latest Redistributed files form Microsoft found here. http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=6812 Remember that DX9 and DX11 are not compatible U will need both ver. of DX on ur PC. U did install DX9 when asked? Some users think DX11 makes DX9 superfluous, it doesn't. Install both.
  21. Have U considered adding the stand alone DCS. ver. of the Simulator to your PC? Last time I saw this error it was due to the video drivers but that was an AMD Graphics card. You are using only the dedicated Graphics right? The BIOS date in your PC is from 2012. I would suggest checking to see if there is an updated ver. available. Although I can't seem to find it there was an older gentlemen from the African Coast who had the error also, and the update of his BIOS fixed it for him. Another users had to add 13.9 dll to the default DCS folder to rid him of this error the one with the Ati card had to use Atiumdag dll along with the Atiumd64 dll in addition. I recall them because I downloaded and added them to my back up drive for later investigation. It wasn't needed as the next iteration of DCS. got rid of the crashes and few others had this error. Insure U have the latest DX9 C++ Redistributed files for the Steam ver. U are running (if U don't want stand alone ver. from DCS.) get them here http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=6812 Will look again later to see if I can find the posts. I am sure they were well over a yr. ago though.
  22. Bitdefender has caused issues before this in DCS. also. In todays world of "Virus" watching and hacking. It is a waist to have a virus protection program if one is aware of the deterrence available to home users. Not opening email from person unknown to U. not clicking links that do not match the content of a search.......i.e. names of webpages that end or begin with a redirect statement like www.updatemicrosoft.......instead of www.Microsoft/ update. (do not want to add a link so syntax is construed. I haven't used an Anti-Virus program in at least 22yrs. now. and have never received a virus in all that time. It is a scare tactic used to generate income for Corporations. Most hackers and virus writers have turned their attention to making money in nefarious ways so mucking with a Personal Computer is not something they consider doing as it generates little in the way of ill gotten gains. Gone are the days of the "Melissa Virus" and the like. But as with most things ignorance is bliss, the information is all over the web on how to avoid virus infestations, as time passes those sites and its information is dwindling as Operating System seal back door entrances to hackers and software manufactures even run tests on their offerings. As per the "Urban Legends" historical data we as a people will continue our fear of the "Virus" well through this generation and the next. The level of knowledge needed to understand this issue is at least 6 generations away or more if Moore's law is any indication.
  23. I've seen that twice here in the forum. Once due to a problem with the download of DCS. Packet error during download process, causing the user to re-download the program. There is a software program that verifies downloads by comparing files.........Anyone remember the name of it? EtherealN used to recommend using it. The other user had a problem with the Redistributed Files and had to reinstall them. they can be found in the DCS Folder.
  24. Why would U have to "Install" the program to find it? Isn't searching the disk more succinct? unless U have no disk?
