I don't recall the card used by Mack. But the info. provided is very valuable. The type of card is relevant in that some settings are better than others as the GPU deals with calls. Setting all to High and setting the NVidia control panels "Use Single Monitor" Performance is the way to go for you. (In my opinion of course).

Did you see the other thread? it discusses the monitor refresh application?

Have you also ticked the "Use Single Monitor Performance" in the control panel?

Sounds like a Dist. or Graphics issue. Update the drivers for the Video Card and make sure you re-install the Dist. files in the DCS folder. (i.e. C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\dist. Install both files in this folder.

Sounds like U may be running short on graphics memory. Can U put another GPU in and try to repeat the error? Barrow one from a friend or if U have been considering the purchase of a new one got something with 2 or more gigs. of Video Ram in it.

Yes, I got that. As far as no small undertaking goes. That sentence barely covers it. I couldn't imagine DCS releasing something like the old 1.3 ver. with all of the problems it had. Guys think about it (those that have been around long enough to remember) the Dev. have learned a lot sense those days, it used to be Bugs bugs and more bugs. now with all they have learned those bugs are for the most part gone in comparison. The thought of any developer releasing a product before its time in this tech. market is not solid business practice. We all have seen, if not experienced the release of buggy software and games. For our beloved DCS to take their time and release a product that has all the problems worked out is nothing short of what I would expect them to do (and want) even if it takes a bit longer. Those bugs are what brought me to DCSs' Forums. For those who know me fixing errors in hardware is My forte. Not bragging at all. The challenge is awesome. remembering the techy. fixes that got my customers up and running based on passed experience is very rewarding. We are beyond those days now. BSODs' are far gone considering the past. So allow the artists to create, find your patience in the fact that the software is by far the best on the market for flight Sims. The reason it is that way is the increased diligence of the teams involved. Who find no fun in releasing the buggy product of old. Kudos to all involved. I am loving the software more and more each day.

750 Ti would do fine. $189 I still use the 760 and have all set to high with no problems at all.

The R9 and DCS do not get along. Do a search many others are like you here in the DCS community. I wouldn't suggest buying the R9 if DCS is one of your interests. Not only that but the Chip Manufacturer You chose is ill suited for DCS. No need to attempt to find an answer the Q. has been asked lots of times before. Search the Forum and see for yourself.

I had that issue with my 760 and my sound card being to close to allow the fans to cool the system properly. made adjustment to the position of the Graphics card and it went away. The BIOS was set to turn system off if heating was an issue also.

Mac did a test (very thorough) on this subject not long ago. Take a look here for more on this subject.

If the Sim. is playable right now, I would wait for EDGE. It may turn out to be a waste of money.

During one of the other updates the Devs. forgot to include the DX9 and or the Re-distributed files as part of the update. This causing the exact same error you are getting now. Is it possible that this error happened again? Like the Resolution error of old that reared its ugly head after several updates.

You have to re-down load the files. Your ISP. is the cause of the corrupted file, a click or pop while downloading. Unless a friend has the files.

With 2 980's I would suggest Liquid cooling, the bottom card is finding it hard to breath, I should think. Are the GPU's over clocked? If so turn them down a bit to find a stable setting. Lot's of users have found that needed to get a stable DX9 Program to work.

There are issues with the Radio in the latest ver. info. available upon searching the forum. I know little of it, just rmember reading it.

No. Use the Mission editor to open them.

The Ti 760 is overclocked? try turning it down first thing. Many have resolved issue with DC9 and the newer graphics cards overclock. After that it is the removal of the system over clock that helped some.
