Basco1 replied to DartzIRL's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
This is Reflected's video on engine emergencies,it has everything included,it's very clear and concise.....I hope he won't mind me uploading it here,it's just so informative....thx Greg. All credit goes to Reflected. -

correct as-is Start-up Training Mission Hangs-up @ Priming
Basco1 replied to cdrkrotchetyusn's topic in Bugs and Problems
No....This is a 'Start Up Tutorial' once the engines are primed by the ground crew there is still a whole load of operations to be completed for start up,this is what we're saying, basically the start up tutorial is left in limbo,ie....it is not completed. -

Yeah I know it's annoying, reading through some of the discussions re bombs/fusing etc ED has mentioned that this side of things is still very much WIP,well in fact it's still pretty much non existent truth be told. Take the delayed fuzing, this is apparently being looked at but that's about as far as they've got.....looking,so using the Mossie in it's intended role as a low flying Fighter Bomber ain't going to happen soon.

About my Mosquito order in Dcs 2.7 Release Version
Basco1 replied to Somu's topic in Bugs and Problems
Well at least you'll be able to get started, and get some training in,in fact TBH I hardly use the stable version these days. -
About my Mosquito order in Dcs 2.7 Release Version
Basco1 replied to Somu's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes,I have both versions on my F drive, not SSD,they work completely independently.....so the stable version will not interfere with the Open Beta version. SSD is always best but mine works fine on my F drive.....I have never had any issues, and remember you can always uninstall if your not happy with it. -
About my Mosquito order in Dcs 2.7 Release Version
Basco1 replied to Somu's topic in Bugs and Problems
Why don't you just download the Open Beta version of DCS World (If you've got room on your PC)you can run both versions on your PC,this is what I do,this then enables you to try out the latest stuff. I've got a feeling that you could be in for a long wait if just waiting for the stable version to be graced with the Mosquito, having the Open Beta version will enable you to get started with the new module as soon as you have it downloaded. -
Any statistics about Mossie aerial victories
Basco1 replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
Yes Braham was the man in the Mosquito,so was 'Sticks' Gregory.....a deadly duo. -
cannot reproduce Elevator trim sensitivity/overall control sensitivity
Basco1 replied to TacticalOni's topic in Bugs and Problems
The topic of the thread is ' Elevator trim sensitivity/overall control sensitivity '......within my reply I am just showing how I personally use this trim wheel to get over the issue that others are witnessing......so I'm at a loss of why you have an issue with it. -
cannot reproduce Elevator trim sensitivity/overall control sensitivity
Basco1 replied to TacticalOni's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm using a Saitek Cessna trim wheel which works a treat.....it works like the real thing, had it for years now....only cost £30,and it was worth it,it gives a lot of smooth fine adjustment quickly, rather than having to endlessly click away at a button. -
DCS: de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito FB Mk VI Discussion
Basco1 replied to msalama's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI

reported earlier Right Wingtip Nav/Position Light Floats
Basco1 replied to jrowland96's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes agreed,I noticed this too, especially as I had the new winter settings on in the Channel map and I was flying at tree top level, the starboard pos/nav light was floating some distance below the wing tip. With the white background the red light showed up like a belisha beacon. -
Hehe......planning a little late night sortie myself

Hey....fellow Brightonian here too,what a small world,living in Windsor,Berkshire now........but,up the Albion,lol.

With the soon to be released Mosquito on it's merry way, I would love to see a WWII British David Brown Tractor with Bomb Loading Trolleys attached ,it would make our WWII airfield scenarios come alive.

We get it Friday.......BRAVO !
-
ROFL......No it's not from Steam.
-
Steam can quote all they like, they are not the developers of this module and map, their suggestions are totally not relevant......if the update is not ready,it's not ready.....ED are the developers here not Steam, and they will release the update how and when they like, all other parties getting bent out of shape regarding this have no significance.

Loving the new Mossie Monday Series. Well done.
Basco1 replied to Cowboy10uk's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
Gotta say I had no idea they did this,so I've learnt something........thanks for bringing it to our attention peachmonkey -
Many thanks Saburu this was an issue for me too,and now it has been corrected by yourself ......all working for me now with the tweaked LUA,which is great as it is a beautiful skin. I have to say why ED uses a bort number system that starts 00 is a pity....I know this is so double generic figures can be used like 12,13,14 etc but no WWII aircraft had numbers starting with a 0 like 02,03,04........surely we can improve on this guys, for historic immersion sake....there must be a way in the 21st Century.
