I would be interested. AC 130, F117A, B-52 Stratofortress, F15C, F35, Mig-31M etc. Aircraft we don't have the data for should be simplified. I'm sure lot's of people would appreciate them.
Could be an input problem. If you're trimmed and flying normally, you can afk and it will stlll be on course.
Check your stick, throttle, keyboard, mouse, pedals, gamepad etc.
There are actually a lot of good points in that post. DCS is very hard for beginners. Anything that makes it easier is a good thing.
The game requires a time investmant. It gets better the more you play.
Realistic troop capacity and decent infantry would make the Mi-8 the clear winner. Being able to drop spec ops, ATGM, manpad teams with decent AI would be amazing.
Tested everything with Wolf the other day. Everything worked smoothly apart from 220MHz on the 863. Sounds were playing correctly for all radios.
Need to double check the 220 at some point.
Definitely a good thing. I haven't liked the FB page as I don't want all my real life friends to know all of my weird secrets!
For me, the frame rate brought me back.
More interesting findings. Pretty sure I was hearing sound via the Arc-9 last night for a short while. I was just testing radios from a parked Mi-8. Engines were off, so I was using ground power.
ThereTherr definitely seems be issues with the radios.
What exactly does the radio transmission power tab do? Perhaps too much power is causing problems?
Wise pilots.
Vertical descent isn't too bad in the Mi-8. You just have to be ultra careful. Get into a perfect hover. Turn on direction hold on SAS - one less thing to do. Then, very slowly descend. Aim for 0.5 - 1m/s rate. It may be slow, but its safer than rushing it.
Ideally, you want to be able to move forward in case of problems, but sometimes that isn't possible.
Doing this on a windy day is a different matter.
