Mission design is the key. From my experience, most multiplayer missions add helicopters as an afterthought.

Dying for shared cockpits. I think the Mi-8 will really excel here.

Flight engineers main job is serving tea and cake to first class passengers.

Use SSD for windows and DCS. You made need to replace or upgrade memory later, too.

In your opinion. They could also increase the price for early access for people who are so excited they can't wait. Or they could just charge the regular price. If you don't like early access, don't buy early access. It really is that simple. By offering a huge discount, they will end up losing money as the DCS crowd will all buy early access.

Great to see feedback from real pilots. I would imagine it's a huge adjustment flying on a computer screen. Vision is severly restricted, and more importantly, you can't feel anything.

I think there's an issue with the editor. If you exit to the front end while editing a mission, then go back into the editor, the previous misson will appear open, but it really isn't. If you then click save, it will overwrite the original with no data. ...

I might have to convert some of these missions for use in multiplayer. Not sure I want to do the campaign alone.

Dynamic is dynamic from memory. I'm pretty sure I've experienced weather changes in the same area. I'm sure someone else can give you a more informative reply soon. - I tended to avoid it as it seemed to lower my frame rate in previoua versions. Haven't tried it in 1.5 or later.

Happened to me too around a month or so ago. I figured I had landed at the wrong place. To be honest, I had difficulty with that mission as the instructions would often come up when I was busy messing with my systems. I gave up on the campaign after that. -- lets make this a little more constructive -- It would be nice to have a radio command to ask them to repeat the last broadcast.

Sorry to hear you're upset, but thiis is standard practice. There are no evil tricks here. If you're honestly looking for the lowest price, wait a year or so after launch. Discounts increase as time passes. Pre-purchases are for those who can't wait. If you're on a budget, avoid them and wait for sales.

It isn't a very nice system, but with some tweaks, it could be.

Nothing wrong with customers asking. My main problem with this is it splits the player base. I'm always going to stay on Steam.

Flew last night with 1.5 openBeta. It seemed fine for me until I got up to around Mach 0.9. It was quite twitch at that speed.

I've definitely done this is either the MiG or an Su. Perhaps it was the Su-33? Happened quite a few times to me in one of the training missions.

It will probably be a long while. The KA-50 is the closest we have. Check out the Polychop sub forums. We're also hoping for Mi-24 soon.

Also, the Ka-50 missions are part of a product package. Get permission from ED before doing this.

This is great to know when you're staring out. Learning how and when to use this instead of the general purpose instrument will really help you understand what effect your inputs are having. The standard sink indicator has a bit of lag which makes it unreliable. Do things slowly until you're comfortable. That is how to do everything in the 8.

Icing might be a factor, but unlikely. Either bug in the current version or control input is my bet.
