  1. Your device is unsupported, so you'll need to hope for community support.
  2. Seems like an odd isp. Is this common?
  3. Edit: Nevermind!!! I was looking at the wrong needle. I was looking at the RSBN... Sorry! Actually, my question at the end of still of interest: Ignore this part: Anyone else having problems with this? It sometimes works, but I can't figure out why. I'm probably doing something wrong, so let me walk you through what I'm doing. The steps marked in squared brackets [] I assume are optional. Starting in Mozdok as a cold start (based on the first tutorial mission): 1) Request ground power 2) Turn on batteries, invertors, [engine,] and RDO. [3) Turn on flight recorder] [4) Turn ADF on (left panel) so I can hear it] [5) Turn RKL-41 to ANT to hear the Morse code] 6) Tune the right RLK wheel to 0520 (and the inner section to the bottom 0) - so 05.25 7) Turn RKL-41 to Comp-Auto At this point, I think the ADF point on my HDI should change direction (to 275 degrees), but nothing happens. I can hear the Morse code. One thing that surprises me is the signal strength indicator is 0. I would expect that to be at full after tuning appropriately. Switching the mode switch to TLG will set indicator to full. It stays the same (full) after switching back again to TLF. Tuning the left wheel to 1060.5 and switching to inner NDB has the same effect. I'm on the Steam openBeta version.
  4. Great to see the outpouring of suppport for this fantastic module. Well earned, BST.
  5. Did you land on grass?
  6. You forgot the Mi-8s turning everything to rubble with rockets.
  7. Is your server a well-known well-populated server? If not, then nobody is going to join someone's random server running a random mission they have never heard of. Some might, but they have no idea what to expect from it when they do... Unless your run a server 24/7 and build a reputation, the only way to get players to join is to host events where people all agree to play at a certain time. You might get lucky and get the occasional player, but you're never gonna get many.
  8. Is the L not available on Steam yet? It seems not. Steam is still on 1.5.3... Why are they not updating the Steam version? This second-class citizen nonsense is getting really lame. Edit - Never mind - this might be because the latest version has a lot of issues with TrackIR.
  9. I did so me lightning, cloud and night navigation missions with some of the Mi-8 Steam group players. No combat, just long flights with no map markers. It was great experience. Easy to setup and host.
  10. It's great that people are so passionate, but unfortunate that they can't communicate positively. Perhaps damage modeling is the issue, not the flight model? As mentioned earlier, crazy moves lead to serious damage. Keep up the great work. Ignore the negative comments that can't be phrased constructively.
  11. If you're not at 90 degrees during your turn, you might be trading air speed for height. That would be my guess.
  12. All is a good answer. Even if I don't buy them, seeing other people using them makes me happy. I'm waiting for the Mi-24, but the Gazelle has given me something to keep me busy. I think ground units need some love to make fighting with or against them more interesting. Locational damage modeling would make a big difference.
  13. Shame you're having trouble with tracks. Mine have been working perfectly recently. Perhaps take look on the next big update. I'm sure people would be interested in seeing your problem.
  14. Don't take it personally. He's just stating fact. I'm sure he'd be happy to see updates, it's just very unlikely. ED are extremely busy with so many different projects. There just isn't time.
  15. Did you speed up the playback?
  16. Real men manually start in the dark with no internal lighting.
  17. Definitely seems like a good excuse to do some 'testing'.
  18. Track files are pretty small and play fairly reliably recently. Make a track and see if it plays back. If it does, upload it.
  19. Thanks guys. Sorry for putting this here, the stickies aren't obvious on Tapatalk. You can delete / move this if that cleans things up. I posted the second suggestion in the enhancement thread.
  20. From my thread in the main area: could we have an option to auto trim the stick (and pedals) to the autohover position. I'm assuming the stick and pedals would be moved into their real locations in the real bird. This would make our lives as virtual pilots far more pleasurable. Thanks!
  21. Any chance of a rudder trim option? I realize there would not be one on the real machine, but a lot of players have spring loaded pedals that auto center. This makes flying in bad weather or flying slowly quite tiring on the legs. The Mi 8 offers this. Secondly, could we have an option to auto trim the stick (and pedals) to the autohover position. I'm assuming the stick and pedals would be moved into their real locations in the real bird. This would make our lives as virtual pilots far more pleasurable. Thanks!
  22. Really glad I'm supporting this. Keep up the great work.
  23. Anyone else really excited by this? I know I am. Any chance of a slick version? Or can we do that by removing guns from the other models?
  24. She is a thing of ugly beauty.
  25. Sounds odd.
