Ok, this is weird. Only seems to happen with this aircraft (and only recently) although I haven’t tested thoroughly yet. When I load any mission in My Missions with the hornet it crashes, I can’t click on anything and I have to reboot DCS. But when I click on the same mission in Missions on the Home screen, it works without fault! I don’t really want to have to recreate all my missions I made. Any ideas? I did a 700mb repair last thing last night so I’ll see if that made a difference today. Thanks

Ok, for some reason this has started happening. I'm getting text to speech happens at the beginning of every mission that has been written in the Mission briefing situation and objective and its as annoying as hell. How do I turn it off please? I've never had it before. Cheers

Yeah, this is the most annoying thing in vr, in my opinion. It’s usually when singular clouds reach the central area of the screen. The only way to alleviate this as far as I’m aware is to make a mission with no clouds or hundreds of clouds where it’s less noiticable.

This doesn’t happen on mobile devices does it - just pc’s? At least it’s not on my iPad.

I was really, really looking forward to this myself when it first came out. Unfortunately I felt it was subpar in my opinion. Some parts were nice of course but it seemed to be a rushed production to me, with some poorly animated characters, and some poor graphic bugs. I replayed it again but at night with the lights off (no light leakage through the nose piece) just listening to the sound recording. It’s worth a watch without doubt but I’ll be removing it from my system.

Hi, 1. Yes, you can detach the cursor from the single point in the options menu, so the curser dot moves freely. I use this with a trackball and I like it. MilesD on the forum is making a pointcontrol device which is attached to your finger and you can point in 3D at a switch in the cockpit -check it out. 2. Yes, where the headphones are attached-on the inside is a flat head screwdriver type thing that can be removed with the supplied tool or a coin etc but to be honest the rift 7.1 surround, is excellent quality - in my opinion anyways - but I’ve never tried Sennheiser cans.

Finally got it to work. I'd downloaded the JSGME file. It didn't work through that in _MODS folder for some reason so just put it in my Saved games folder then butchered the folder structure and now it works.

Starting to get somewhere, I've got the airfield equip working. Still having the issue with the Rangers mod, I've tried manually installing it into DCS, putting it in the osgme folder and in the saved games folder and all three together without luck. Its not in the Installed section in Module manager anymore either. Must be something simple, I'm sure. Any other ideas? Cheers

Not sure what's happened but I can't get this working anymore. Not sure if it was broke after yesterdays update. It shows up in the Installed modules (all my mods show as slightly greyed out compared to the official modules)but when I try to load a mission containing this mod, I get an error message saying I need to install them!!! Any ideas? I get the same with Ranger's 2.4.1 mod. Cheers

Never did get this work, the folders have been put into the correct folders. The same applies to the VPC airfield equip. too. Any ideas gents? Cheers

Sorry to bother you again. Mission 1 - I get the message to contact ATC within 5Nm but only get this message after I pass the runway threshold. Am I missing something here?

Seems like you've made a lot of effort here, well done. I'll certainly be flying this Red Flag. Regarding the comms, can I not use Vaicom/ VA for this? I've tried but I never get any responses from ATC. With Vaicom in VR it's a bit of an immersion killer having to press space and seeing the text.
