Ok, so I downloaded this mod but it doesn't show up in DCS. Here is my file structure C:\Users\Les\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft\A-4E-C All the files are in the folder I think. Any ideas? Thanks

VEAO once had a boom operator on the table - sounds like 5 minutes of fun. Means nothing now though since they are now dissolved. But yeah, flying a C-130 through a combat zone sounds appealing to me too.

Do you mean what to bind it to? I use the left throttle on the TM Warthog, right throttle lever as the main throttle and the grey Lever for the nozzle angle

I just bought it today actually in the sale. Seems quite a nice little number. Would have bought it full price though, but well worth £25.

Well, I think I must have deleted the Sendowl email from both inbox and trash can as I can’t find it. I’ve sent two emails to Aleks from the website and one pm to Cobra here, all without response. Really not sure where I go from here. Any ideas? Thanks Les

Alerax did a script for the LSO speech for carrier landings and came up with a way to add the individual files to the .miz so the user didn't have to do them individually. Hi, It should be just DCS(version)/Scriots/Export.lua Mine is in the saved games folder. If it still doesn’t work, you’ll probably have to try Hollywood on the Vaicom 2.5 Pro thread, he’ll sort you out

Presumably its the same issue is mine. The menu comes on for 5 seconds then off 5 seconds repeatedly. Delete your export file in Scripts. DCS will build a new one when you reboot the game. Fixes it every time for me. Dunno why it is, but the export file seems to get corrupted or something with every other update or so. It's an easy to do workaround.

Brilliant work, Miles. So much better than using the Touch controllers! Really, really can't wait for this. And the extra tactile buttons for the HMD does sound like a great idea (I think I'd prefer these to the sensor - the more the better!

I know JTAC can be found on different frequency types (in real I think it's mainly FM), but I've been finding a lot of user missions recently (including Wags) have been using AM. Which is a tad annoying when using the same frequency as a local airport like Batumi - it seems then you can't contact the tower for vector, approach and landing. At least not for me.

Try just using adding 'Tower' for ATC For JTAC try using Jay Tack or something similar

With the radar on the right Digital Display Indicator - the right screen in the F-18 - make it the Sensor of Interest by pressing sensor control right

I too have the issue of the comms menu appearing then going away, it’s a persistent 5 seconds on then 5 seconds off. Have you tried deleting the export file? That usually fixes it. It seems to come back for me every DCS update or so.

Stick it on the Forestal (if available) with a bunch of other cats and then howl with laughter for ages because of the single digit fps. Then cry for a bit. Then do an airstart above the desert, and check out those external views and marvel at the beauty.

Wow, I had almost exactly the same experience as the OP. I lost all power but managed to get started again after pumping the wobble pump until the light went off again. By the time I got back into the fight, it was practically over and I never got a shot in. The engine sounds are bugged for definite (only in the player aircraft it seems). It seems to chop in and out from beginning to the end of the mission with or without the canopy open.

It is unfortunate that some people can afford these modules and some can’t. Sorry that’s just life. For the amount of time, effort and money it costs to produce, they have to make their money back or it wouldn’t be a business would it. And the fact that roughly we get 1 or 2 modules per year and know about them waaaay in advance should entice people to start saving. Or just play the sim for free forever with the free content.
