Here's a script someone wrote for it to work in MP. I've never tried it though.

You have to use the Fast Erect switch which is one of the switches under the HSI. It can take a while to realign if you're ADI is really misaligned.

Did a quick test. C-101CC with manual power reserve engaged. 25% fuel. Default weather. 365 kts sea level.

Clouds don't move, only "treadmill in place".
kontiuka replied to lastresort77's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
I imagine it's a limitation of the current iteration of clouds and weather. The entire weather system is being revamped. This is just the first step of many. -
Oh, I thought that WAS the new SA-6 model.

Thanks for the updates, guys. DCS C-101 Aviojet by AvioDev Removed duplicates in input definitions. Removed some irrelevant commands from input. Updated CN localization. Campaign updated. Fixed movement of rear pilot right foot when applying brake. Change in damaged wings aerodynamic model: The effective wing surface has been changed for the reduction in aerodynamic coefficients related to the wings. After some testing, the result was enough to produce uncontrollability to the aircraft. Fixed ITT gauge CC. Several changes in Georgian liveries. Fixed empty aircraft and total fuel masses of C-101CC. Fixed CoG handling of C-101CC. Multicrew is currently under WIP: Fixed time delays and synchronization bugs of the following cockpit controls: flaps, gear, L/R battery isolation switches, “ESS bus transfer” button, “pitot heat”, “anti-ice”, engine starter mode, start abort, and ignition switches. Implemented multicrew synchronization of “computer” Korry button. Implemented multicrew synchronization of “anti-skid” Korry button. Fixed C-101CC rear cockpit landing gear handle light (it was inoperative)

I admire your commitment.

I'm sure they'll release on Wednesday. Since it's open beta, it's not as critical that it be problem free. Just as long as there are no game breakers.

You also have to determine whether it's a friendly or enemy held cloud.

C101 Syria user mission - Repel the Invaders
kontiuka replied to lankypilot77's topic in Screenshots and Videos
Thanks. I'll check it out. -
I would say very little chance of that. All we've seen so far are some cockpit and external screenshots. When we start seeing teaser videos of flight performance, systems operation, etc. then we'll be closer to a release.

I don't think the F-5 has an INS system so there wouldn't be any stored waypoints. Not sure how that instant action mission is set up.

It's because those are textures, not light sources.
-
What if you renamed your texture folder to textureBackUp or something and tried a repair? Worth a shot.

Also, make sure your radio selector dial is set to UHF and that your UHF radio is on. -
High fidelity jets using a single joystick

I've been using a Microsoft Sidewinder since day one. If you're creative with your button and key assignments, you can get by fine. And I own the A-10C. -
I'm waiting for it to go on sale. +1

Lighting model doesn't illuminate planes from non-player lightsources
kontiuka replied to deadpool's topic in General Bugs
The reason is that a lot of these "light sources" aren't actually light sources. They're simple textures. Probably for the sake of saving computing power. My take only. -
what is the premise of the campaign?

Does the active runway actually have ILS which is dependent on wind direction?

Boarding ladder / helmet switching on and off
kontiuka replied to gulredrel's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
I've seen this in just a regular free flight as well. Wonder if it has anything to do with the wind.
