I have an E6B my Nav gave me for Christmas in 1987...my first year flying. She taught me how to do my own precomps and spin winds. I’m glad to see someone else using prototype equipment for flight sinking!

I spent 2 hours dropping JDAMs and playing with different modes...both inputting preplanned targets and targets of opportunity. Perhaps you need to make sure you're updated? There was also this about making sure you're using the latest Nvidia drivers. JDAMs with new coordinates worked great. The ONLY issue I noticed is when you are in game and use Alt-F to cycle coordinate format in map view the format doesn't change until you move your mouse.

Yes. Apparently this is prototypical. SA on AMPCD or Left DDI works fine.

Emmy you're not in a negative gee dive are you? I've had the same thing happen a few times screwing around diving straight at the ground to go as fast as possible only to have both engines flame out...just a thought. -
Simple Question...is there a reason the script would work single player and not multiplayer? I've been using this script for quite a while now and it has simply stopped working for me in multiplayer. Works fine single player, Start Mission, Join Observer, Go to spectators, select a client...works every time. I've tried for an hour to get the exact same steps to work with the new server and multiplayer and it simply doesn't. I'm attaching the mission in question. Perhaps someone can figure out why its only working in single player. Is it possible to get this modification bumped up the priority list a little? There are a lot of us using this script, A better fix / workaround if available would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance [TAC-PG]_PERSIAN_GULF V1.1 4.2019.miz

Ravensino I flew as a crew member in the Air Force for 22 years. Now...I'm not saying it never happens, but > I < never heard a radio call telling us to "Fly heading X for X" and leaving it up to US to figure out where that was. It WAS common during approaches to hear a call telling you how far you are AWAY from a particular fix or point...I.E. "Xtndr 11 You are 5 Miles from "HAMMS" You are Cleared ILS approach runway 15." In this case the controller is clearing us the approach and letting us know we are 5 miles from the Final approach fix. I have a friend at work who is a retired Indy Center Air Traffic Controller. I'll run this past him and see what he says.

I can give you a tanker and a vul time...and you can bore holes in the sky for 4-5 hours hitting the tanker every hour While the people on the ground confer and decide if the people they are looking at are bad guys and more importantly if they can be bombed. Then getting approval for employing ordnance, then setting up to employ ordnance, before dropping 1 or 2 bombs and flying home. That's real war. Yes, most mission designers know all of the things you mention. No the A-10 wouldn't be attacking SA-10 sites in real life...but I usually don't DIE when I'm flying my A-10...the object is to have fun. Since SA-10s pose a challenge they get used. Comparing what we do in DCS to "real War" is faulty at best

So is the exhibit floor open to everyone Friday or do we need to sign up for one of the "Captains Corner" lectures to get in? The website doesn't mention general admission on Friday.

I think he meant "correct". The Warthog is real/ correct for the A-10 and F-16... The Hornet Stick is real/ correct for the Hornet...but appears to have fewer buttons...However, if I'm doing the math correctly there number is the same... Both have a Paddle switch, a pinky sw, a weapon release button, 2 stage trigger, a Trim Sw, a 5 axis CMS switch , a mode / recce event switch...the only switch the Hornet stick lacks is the 4 axis TMS Switch... But according to rumors, the Hornet Castle switch and Trim switch both have a Z-axis. (press in) The Hornet also has a slider just above the recce sw. If my math is correct, That's the same number of buttons as the Warthog.

Wags, I work with a reeseve F-16 avionics troop...I can ask him to check it out i'm just not sure when he has reserve duty.

You answered the interval question. Thank you The Second, yes I know I have to be careful. I am using:Module AI.AI_A2A_Dispatcher “One AI_A2A_DISPATCHER object can create a defense system for one coalition, which is blue or red. If you want to create a mutual defense system, for both blue and red, then you need to create two AI_A2A_DISPATCHER objects, each governing their defense system.” I guess the question is What constitutes creating a second AI_A2A_DISPATCHER object? PS I thought I attached both lua files to the original post but apparently I failed at basic file management. I can post them later if it will help. PPS And I Discovered BOTH scripts are working correctly. Map settings were preventing me from seeing RAD aircraft spawn.
