** HOW TO REDEEM YOUR HEATBLUR.COM PURCHASE **
Sierra99 replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
How does the crew pack optionnwork? We get an email with two licenses then we each bind one to our account? -
rel4y, These look really great. And compared to the cost of the other options a good value. My only question is I have zero experience with MMjoy2. What does DCS see when you plug this in? A standard HID Device like when you plug in a Bodnar board or any other usb device? Sierra

Push the throttle up as far as it will go...look at your RPM Gauges...press the keyboard command o increase thrust (keypad "+" ?) see if the RPMs increase further. If they do, you have a controller issue. Another possible fix is to delete the saved games /config /input /A-10C folder then run repair. After that redo you binding and see if the problem goes away.

Sir would you mind sharing the part numbers you ordered? I'd like to order a spare as well but the process with TM is confounding at times. Its easier if you say " want this please tell me how much to send PAYPAL" Thanks in advance Sierra

Sokol is this your work or someone else's? If someone else's has anyone got one and tried it? I am REALLy interested in the throttle mod. This and a TUSBA and I'm ready for the F-16CJ!

Couple of Questions... A.) Will you share the source for the Range and Ant pots? B.) Have ya given any thought to the dismal Idle/Mil/AB detents as delivered from TM? Mine have all but worn away leaving next to nothing...I am looking at modifying the edges of the part shown here in yellow with notches and printing a housing for a spring and ball bearing to provide a better "Click" but I'm curious what others have done.

There is a Moose script to turn SAM radars on and Off... :music_whistling:

Does it actually use Hydraulic Oil or does it use the fuel as the fluid? I know the MPRS pods for the KC-135 and WARP pods on the KC-10A both use the Fuel as the "Hydraulic" fluid to operate the system. Quick question about the video...The guy filming does a "last chance" on the RIGHT side of the aircraft while it is chained down. As its being hooked up for the Cat Shot it looks like he checks many of the same things again on the LEFT side...is this so two different sets of eyes look over the same systems? Sierra

So with the F-16CJ a little closer to reality I've been looking at my Cougar TQS and contemplating possible solutions to the dismal Idle / Afterburner / Cutoff detents as originally delivered. It doesn't take long for the pot metal ridges that rub against each other inside the throttle to wear off and not "Click". So first question...has anyone else already boiled this frog and come up with a solution? If not I have an idea or two but need some help fleshing it out.

DCS: F/A-18C Screenshots and Videos (NO DISCUSSION)

F-22 is a failure? Seriously I'm pretty sure facts say the F-22 is a very capable aircraft. The only real mistake was not buying the full compliment to replace the F-15C. That being said, the F-15 was designed to be the best Air Superiority Fighter in earth. Period. It's design while classified a 4th gen fighter is still better at its "job" than planes designed since because everything designed since has had compromises built into them. You don't get stealth without compromise. You don't get vertical takeoff without compromise. The F-15 was built to be the best fighter possible. Modern avionics do more to enhance its capabilities than stealth or any other gimmicks do for newer fighters.

Just hand it to the crew chief on landing and when he asks where it came from...shrug.

Ya Know Vorkitis... If everyone did crash reports like this... Strong work.
-
Also make sure you don't have any additional unexpected mappings that might be causing the error...sometime you'll find throttles mapped to rudder peddles...view commands mapper to MFD rings etc.

I think the Kiowa would be a great fit in DCS because of the possibilities it brings to multiplayer...

Ahhhhhh...yeah..weight. Looked a little deeper. The mission starts with full tanks and relatively slow compared to the other instant action missions and you're immediately in a turning fight with a MiG. No time to build Airspeed and burn down some fuel. Is the radio assist accurate something that can be turned on and off in the real Eagle?

So been a busy week and just sat down to play with the F-15...first, who is the female sitting behind me yelling "Shoot, Shoot" and informing me of SAMs apparently addressed to me? Did we get a new Bchin Betty of did they update the old one? Second, I hopped in the Persian Gulf dogfight map to play around and promptly fell out of the sky making a turn. Is it just me or is the F-15 bleeding airspeed way faster than before? Sierra

DCS: F-16CM Block 50 by EDSA Discussion Thread
Sierra99 replied to NineLine's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Personally...I applaud the way the hornet has been rolled out. I feel like I have far more useable knowledge of its systems and their use than I have of say the A-10 which I've had since it was released. Despite what some would say I think we have a far more stable asset because they are doing it this way. Easier to squash bugs one at a time verses all at once. I'd prefer to see the F-16 be released the same way. -
Friend is having problems with his computer
Sierra99 replied to ElCuco68's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I beg to differ...we spent WEEKS trying to get his 970 to give more than 2-3 FPS With no luck...no matter what we did it constantly reverted to the windows basic drivers...so he bought a 1070ti...the exact same card another friend and I bought... WE installed and everything worked...HE could not get more than basic drivers. Did some research and found a post stating there were no 1070ti drivers available for a particular version of windows. I don't remember exactly which but when he checked his OS and sure as hell it was NOT windows 10 professional and the card was not going to work. After he Installed Windows 10 Professional on a new drive everything worked exactly as advertised. Sometimes a misclick when installing an upgrade can lead to issues. -
Friend is having problems with his computer
Sierra99 replied to ElCuco68's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Might sound like a stupid question...but what version of windows is he running? Had a friend in a similar situation who just couldn't get DCS ironed ot despit all of our efforts. Turned out he as running windows 10 home or student or something other than windows 10 premium. Once he switched to a supported version of windows everything worked as specter. -
You're not in Game Mode are you?

Hey guys... Anyone else having issues connecting to or hosting online missions? Have a server running in a separate box. One friend connects just fine. Second friend cannot connect since update. Log file says something to the effect of..."game ready, notifying server, server disconnected." He's opening a support ticket but I am curious if anyone else is seeing this sort of thing?

Has anyone noticed the GAU-8 seems to have more killing power? MIGHT be my imagination but I have been getting Tanks in one pass the last couple of days verses 2-3 passes previously.
