  1. And while some of you are expressing "dissatisfaction" because some mods don't work...some of us are appreciating the fact that we can fly 2-3 hour long sorties in a server together without someone in the group crashing to desktop...sorry not sorry. ED MUST do what's right for its customers. Notice I said customers...not modding community. The simple fact is if updating this game means some community mods are broken until their creators bring them up to the current standard... So be it.
  2. Yeah...about that...I had a chance to handle both a Virpil Stick and base and the Hornet Stick this weekend in Orlando. In my opinion The Virpil stick felt "Cheap" compared to the Hornet. No Comparison. The Price isn't that unreasonable for something that I don't have to wonder about being compatible with my system... As for Winwing...I'll believe it when I see it. I believe there are lots of people out there looking at their Throttle and side panel...but I can get a Hornet stick for 229.00...their Hornet Stick is close to 400.00 if ya use simple math and split the costs of their throttle and Stick. And all of your other sticks may or may not work with it.
  3. They were using an F-18C A/A mission to demonstrate the New Hornet Stick...Didn't show off anything new.
  4. Foxx Mount https://foxxmount.com/
  5. I am interested in the throttles only.
  6. So let me get this straight...If I am using the base and a Sitck but not target none of this is necessary? Just Plug and Play?
  7. If it's already sold out on amazon...it would appear the masses don't have an issue with the cost...
  8. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3934656&postcount=158 "This will also allow us time to complete integration of the JSOW A version (still working on HT fuze settings)." Soooo A and C if things go according to plan...
  9. "Center the dot before you take the shot" Words to live by. Where are you putting the dot? On the target?
  10. Are you using Target or mapping the stick in Setting/Controls?
  11. Guys were going about this all wrong... We need to find out what the owner and CEO drink and pony up for a few cases of "the good stuff" to sway his opinion. :music_whistling:
  12. Which is funny because I understand the real ones are Plastic?
  13. Thanks RustBelt... Ya gave me more info than I had...
  14. The extra button is correct. It's the "Recce Event Mark Switch" on the F-18C and "waypoint increment switch (WINC) switch on the AV-8B." The slider is "extra" but I kinda like the idea of using it zoom control. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the F-18C and AV-8B sticks is the Trim and Castle are swapped...otherwise the look like same stick. Hopefully, if a person wants they can swap the Castle and Trim switches to model whatever version the desire. If I get a chance I'll ask next week at the Flight Sim show.
  15. Nope... https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3933903&postcount=157 " This is an introduction video regarding use of the AGM-154C JSOW for DCS: F/A-18C Hornet. The AGM-154C is planned to be included in the next Open Beta release. "

I'm curious how much was the Cubpilot Mod?
  17. Was TAMPS part of OFP 13C Lot 20?
  18. Hey Gents, Recently someone posted a link to a company that has the din plug used on the warthog base. Anyone have that info? Thank in advance Sierra
  19. The bulk of the discussion has been about the systems and capabilities the Viper we are getting will have. My question is are there any significant external spotting features because of these upgrades?
  20. debolites, I am in contact with the Gent rebuilding an F-15C cockpit. He’s is going to forward dimensional information about the SFS box so we can make a correctly scaled copy of we wish. I’ll let ya know what I have it in hand.
  21. Please don’t forget this is an entertainment sim. Nobody is going to Die if they don’t do it exactly correct.
  22. For everyone asking "why not this version...why not that version...are we gonna get this or that... Have a look here: http://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions.html This is probably one of the most concise breakdowns of blocks and features you're gonna find and illustrates a very important point...there are more versions of Vipers than Carter's little pills. If you really look into the details, ED has selected a specific block of aircraft that offers the widest range of capabilities.
  23. If your talking about the SFS Box you designed for me, I am still working on getting accurate measurements of the box...that project fell off the radar but if it's moved back to the top I'll press ahead for the actual box dimensions. I'll send ya a pm with some observations.
  24. Last Cables I got were from eBay...but they were inexpensive and came with PCB connectors as well. Glad to hear your working this...any chance of adding the ACQ switch too?
  25. There is a very specific reason different aircraft and different squadrons perform a given mission...and it's not based on how willing anyone is to lose an aircraft because losing an aircraft implies you are willing to lose the CREW and that is NEVER part of the planning process. Money. Every squadron has a wartime mission and the funds allotted for training are based on that mission. The F-14 might have made a great sead platform...but it would have required additional funding to train the crews and maintain currency in performing the sead role. And then there is the problem that time and money spent training on sead weapons and procedures would take away from their primary mission which was fleet defense. Same holds true with Aircraft like the F-16...a Guard Squadron with an Air Defense wartime role spends more time flying Air combat Training missions than it does Air to Mud delivery and vice versa...A Squadron with a SEAD mission spend far more time training for that than Air Defense.
