That's the game. When you wait to long, you eventually get a leak. :music_whistling: I've seen this happening a lot in one of my job. Guys putting a youtube video for a live meeting with company directors and forgetting the "private" options... product stolen in company trucks during early closed presentations.... It always happen. :D I also played drunk games a few time with employee from competiting companies and got early intel :music_whistling:

You know, both engines are same system to model. Shouldn't impact much on system ;)

Once you get 90° aspect, you are basically a stealth fighter. Remember Mig-21 feature a Radar Cross Section that is very, very low. Once you drop the doppler (Keeping = distance from radar) you are invisible if not locked in STT. You can easily approach F-15 by keeping them in your 6/9 until you are out of their cone detection. Modern submarine simulators are perfect training for this concept :D

When shot from long range, turn and escape. If medium range, dive 90° then either get lost in ground clutter or get back up to bleed missile, depending on shooter aspect. If close range, just pull as much G as you can at last moment. Amraam are easy to defeat when you know missile logic. Aim7 are way more dangerous. I don't use chaff at all, they are useless. I take more flares for short range sam.

noob education needed here... what can the SA-342M do?
Darkwolf replied to hannibal's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Gazelle was a low cost tank plinker. It would go and hunt for tank and if a few are lost..... :music_whistling: ground fire can take it down so anything beyond tank destruction on feba is quite tricky, except on the usual 99% of DCS missions that does not feature a frontline neither infantry. -
All cockpit commands are available for all planes, except Flamming Cliff. Thing is : the way DCS declares cockpit input and output are common to all plane, and they are the root to any export software. Afterward, it depends on what you use for your cockpit. Natively, SIOC support everyplane. DCS-BIOS and Helios are unfortunately more limited since they use their own export function, but it's nothing hard to tackle at user level.

Folks, DCS community is too small to fight each other. You guys should stop shooting each other at the first misunderstanding. Can we go over this before the mods jumps in ? :)

Well.... Last time i checked, R3-R PK was around 0.9 against manoeuvering targets. :music_whistling: As a mig-21 driver, i'm more worried about bugs than about F-5E :P

I want to go to Las Vegas

It may comes down to variant. I'd rather have a consistent and COMPLETE setup of cold war plane, than mixed era stuff with partially guessed plane from various age

Taking twin is already useless. Plane is a flying brick with 4 missiles. They is no point taking 8 as even a 737 would BFM you.

Drop S24-A Miss your target by 100m Still Have a good laugh watching them all dead with the blast. :music_whistling: Mig-21 S-24 are one of the most deadly A/G weapon in the game. But the Su-25 can carry bigger, and laser guided S-rockets. To me the most deadly AG plane stays the Su-25T.

1.5 is one of the worst application i've ever saw in multiplayer. Since 1.5 we experience server crash everywhere. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's my wingmans, sometimes it's half of the server that get disconnected. We tested most of the known server. DCS israel, 159, RAF, MD..... Same thing happening. Don't put too much expectation in the 1.5.

Don't worry, all those bragging about the mirage remember me how the F-15C were braging a year back from now :music_whistling: They'll figure out the truth quite soon - when hanging to a virtual chute :joystick:

Su-25T on latest Open Beta Build question
Darkwolf replied to AlienKarma's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's global. all plane i've tested in 1.5 behave not like in 1.2 Most likely game parameter have changed, it looks like gravity is lower and energy degrade way less. -
I tried to insert my credit card in the DVD tray. ... nothing happen :/

oh 90% of the time BVR works great. Shoot missile. Shoot another missile. Watch guy get defensive. Snake if he Rmax'ed a Aim-120. Shoot another missile. Watch the guy fleeing/exploding. If guy fleeing, Shoot another missile. thru those 60seconds, if ever plane did not got a missile in his ass, you are nearly WVR with great position. R73 will finish the job. haven't tested recent patch tho- I stopped su-27 when Mig-21 was released.

Most funny is that I have absolute opposite. Lonewolves are usually the more cooperative and people with squadron marks just don't even answer you. I guess it come down to communication skills. You should read the countless accounts of noobs and lone pilot participating greatly in the Buddy spike event. Other than that - I agree with others. Current chat sucks badly. They are good ideas behind but not practical in reality.

It's always better to have 5 sales at 100% than 10 at 30%. If they changed their discount level, it is because obviously they were going the wrong way. Everyone was waiting for sales to buy modules, they surely had a big drop in regular sales. 30% is already a good discount - and discount period are really frequent.

We have some. [ame] [/ame] Even tho I prefer northern Europe metal, more symphonic -
