You can do the same crazy stuff in the Huey :music_whistling:
-
There are other modules affected as well. I would wait until Friday, there is a hotfix inbound regarding to NineLine. But not sure what will be included.
-
 No, no need to check the whole forum. The first thread in the other bug section of this developer would have been enough. Anyways, a look in most of the other forums had also made you aware of this bug since not only razbam modules suffer from it.
-
Correct, there are other modules suffering from this bug. BTW, I have no idea where on this planet you live hanab but when this update went live today most people here in europe had a RL job to do. Since the Polychop guys do this stuff in their spare time you should think about it first and post later. Not everybody can surf and post from his office desk.

I'm getting a trend that you guys complain into the blind without any serious knowledge. Developer bashing must be some kind of new fun sport. Statement by Zeus: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3553995&postcount=5 Incoming hotfix for various fixes on Friday: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3553896&postcount=514

Wow, regarding you link in 1942 MBB published a detachable connecting element by means of an explosive charge, in particular for aircraft, german Luftwaffe aircraft especially. What has this to do with the F/A-18C? Nothing, like your link :music_whistling:

DCS F-14 Update: JESTER AI Behind the Scenes Recording & Multicrew
FSKRipper replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Thanks for this amazing update guys. Can't wait to get my hands on this bird. -

-
It's like in the video by Lex, a mistake done by almost every new pilot. Using trim instead of throttle is natural for other planes but not for landing on a football field drifting on the ocean. BTW if it would be not very hard, everybody could do this :) Congratulations anyway, I recommend his other two videos as well. He is a really good instructor.

 Maybe you try to get some more knowledge on how the modules are developed and created. If your 3d modelers are not FM specialists and coders in the same person they are unemployed until project one is finished… Great idea for a running business, right?
-
Hm, for me it seems that the MLA was far more common in numbers then the MLD so it would fit much better for most scenarios :music_whistling:

How about a track? Somebody in this 6-8 man group should have saved this right?
-
But aren't you asking to do exactly the opposite of your original intention (flying below 10K AGL, search for ground marks, laser spots, working with map etc) You ask for a weapon that hast to be dropped from a level flight at altitude. It's the same bombtruck stuff that you want to avoid with flying the A-10A  Don't get me wrong, everybody should have his fun and own wishes. If this makes any sense ED will surely take this into account. I only try to understand why to create something that is obsolete (just in my opinion)... Atm the only reason I get from your posts is "because it could…" which brings us back to the senseless F-15C bomb carrier discussion-because you could… You could also do all this stuff with an A-10C without loading a TGP, JDAMs and all this fancy toys. Nobody forces you to use a moving map, or upgraded ECM's.
-
Maybe there is a lingual misunderstanding between us. When you are such a great fan of doing it the "old" way with maps and without the fancy JDAM and TGP stuff why using LGB's at all? Im aware that Stories are first of all stories… but show me one reliable source saying it was done and you got me on your side… My memory is not the best but since I'm into aviation stuff since the early 90's I'm pretty sure that the DS Warthogs were never loaded with LGB's. Not more not less. I can't tell what was done between the upgrades to the C-version but away from special forces stuff I have problems to understand the benefit of a person which has to crouch in line of sight to an enemy position especially in the planings for a modern day highly mobile battle environment. Maybe I'm going on thin ice here (because I really don't know) but from all stuff I heard only a small number of drops in Afghanistan were buddy lasing (none of which I heard were ground lasings). I'm open to learn something new if you can get me some information :book:
-
Nope, I'm no expert. For this we would have to ask Snoopy. BTW I'm not reading magazines… More user friendly stuff for the holidays… I could recommend: "Warthog - Flying the A-10 in the Gulf War" by William L. Smallwood A real good summary about life and the missions were in these times. And from my limited knowledge I would conclude if it isn't in the book (and in any other source) it never happened there… But if you just want it for the fun side of flying the A version (which I can fully understand) it would be worth an idea to post it in the DCS Wishlist thread.

Any reports from Dersert Storm or before that it was done? We had that discussion earlier with the F-15C. Because you can clamp a 500lb bomb under it doesnt mean its done on operational basis. At least from the public literature I found no evidence of LGB use by A10A during the Desert Storm, even if the plane would be able to find a laser and let some ground troops guide the bomb...
-
It is a FC3 aircraft. What do you expect for the small money? You get a bird with decent FM how it was flown in the 80's.

So here is what happened to me: After construction works last week in my street I was able to download the new PG map on Friday. Had some minutes before wife and kids took over the Weekend Planning. Started DCS two hours ago in a great mood to enjoy my new toys to find out i have 12 minutes left until the authentication timer has elapsed... Would it be possible to start the timer the first time I start DCS without internet connection? In 99% of all cases I don't know when my provider has problems.

Thx for the reminder
