  1. Let's be realistic. BST, now ED, is busy with polishing the F-18, their both helos, creating two new helos and a F-16. This seems to be enough work to put even the F4 to a stop. I wouldn't go so far to compare the F/A-18C with the F-5N. Numbers vary a bit between them… If you add upgraded foreign versions even more
  2. My thought: A lot of work to simulate the Swiss Air Force or US agressor flights.
  3. Did you dismounted the gunsight? (If I understood correct that you are missing the pilot NS430)
  4. You old spoilsport :megalol: I hoped he finds out for himself who he was trolling.
  5. Jack where are you? The show isn't complete without Statler and Waldorf :music_whistling:
  6. That's a real FLIR Killer
  7. Please check your install, it's definitely fixed… Not perfect but the FLIR is ED's playground and WiP Is your IR camera cooled down for some minutes? See my pics: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3569923&postcount=24
  8. But does standing in your garden let you inhalate fine uranium dust from projectiles deep in your lungs?
  9. Can't test for multiplayer right now but it's an affirm for the IR view
  10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_United_States_Navy_carrier_air_operations
  11. Sorry to say that but if you guys are the stars of the RL industry we would have no planes which are actually able to fly. Remembering your unforgotten wheels on grass thread and Mavericks famous (or infamous?) tour through all the FM's of the Mirage, the F-15 and now the Su-27 (beat me if I forgot one ) I have more than serious doubts that anybody of you two guys is more than an aeronautics student in the second year. I could be horribly wrong but this would not make it better in any case... As it was said before, you guys were never able to prove ED wrong and in dubio pro reo…
  12. What is also not acceptable is the way you report a bug. No crashlog, no description how to reproduce and the choice of your words...my dear... The good news is that a simple look on the same page would have shown you that this is already fixed internally and hopefully history on the next patchday (Wednesday).
  13. Nothing to do right now. Wednesday we will get a larger patch from ED. If everything goes well the Polychop fixes should be in there. (since even modules crashes [of other modules] are not urgent enough to release hotfixes I would suppose that ED simply restricted this possibility - You never know what such a fix maybe breaks on the other side...)
  14. Nice to hear and probably a nice buy to get my son into sim flying  One question, since the MiG-29 is the only plane left in this package with a SFM, can we expect the revised FM at MAC release (for MAC and for FC3)?
  15. I don't think so... I play on DCS 2.5.2.19273 Update 6 Hotfix. I have flown the Instant Action "OCA Strike" and directly after that the mission "attack the camp". Apart from the chinese mission title after loading the mission I encountered nothing unusual.
  16. And again somebody who concludes because it is not working for him it has to be bad in general… I'm sorry for you and I hope it get's fixed soon but for me it is working like Charme so this is far from junk
  17. No from my side and 98% of the other sim pilots. Believe it or not, your problems are not the world problems and the developers won't jump at your mark. I'm pretty sure Heatblur has a priority list for fixing bugs and since you seem to ignore the hundreds of bugs fixed yet, you also would have no interest in getting to know when it's your turn...
  18. Never said everything is fine but I'm a bit tired of the same discussions every 4 months. Some posts ago you said I'm lying, know you admit this UH-1 error. Even with a VS of 980m/s (same as your VS) I'm able to do this recovery  I own the book btw. but as a RL pilot you should know that sometimes there are some big deviations from the standards according to the specific aircraft. Sorry, regarding VRS look at post 16, it was never said it's impossible! Regarding your RL experience I would like to point you to my post 26. I don't know your background but I know some civilian spare time pilots knowing not more about aerodynamics and mechanics as my son. This is another reason why I put more thrust in military experience since in most countries the pilots are expected to earn a degree in one of this areas. In other countries they are better taxi drivers and driving a car doesn't mean understanding how it works. Look at the streets... So for me this discussion ends here, much fun furthermore…
  19. Great, many thanks pat. Only three campaign missions left for which IR is vital
  20. I don't have to… look at my file. Could you explain to me why your FuelFlow went to 0,0 3 seconds before you hit the ground? Edit: Before you complain the file is too old, here is a fresh one from 5 minutes ago. Quick and dirty but sums it up. Recovery in less than 20ft after adding full collective. I don't think we need to continue to compare the FM's. Neither of us will be happy and some people will loose their believe in the UH-1. TacviewHueyreccover.zip Tacview-20180707-122909-DCS.zip
  21. Oh I listen very carefully. Sometimes it seems to me that a part of the community thinks that the military pilots (working with the developers) are not worth to be heard. Since everybody can have an own opinion here is mine: I will put more faith into the developers word that several actual Gazelle pilots affirmed a large part of the FM than to thrust one or two persons (who are unknown to me) saying they are RL pilots (which I cant check) flying helicopters of different types. And please don't tell me that everything from Airbus helicopters flies the same way. Even the BK117 and the C2 version (EC145) show some different behaviour. :smilewink:
  22. You can do the same crazy stuff in the Huey :music_whistling:
  23. Correct, there are other modules suffering from this bug. BTW, I have no idea where on this planet you live hanab but when this update went live today most people here in europe had a RL job to do. Since the Polychop guys do this stuff in their spare time you should think about it first and post later. Not everybody can surf and post from his office desk.
  24. Wow, regarding you link in 1942 MBB published a detachable connecting element by means of an explosive charge, in particular for aircraft, german Luftwaffe aircraft especially. What has this to do with the F/A-18C? Nothing, like your link :music_whistling:
  25. Thanks for this amazing update guys. Can't wait to get my hands on this bird.
