  1. Yes, unfortunately it fails the multiplayer integrity check. Looks great, though. e: and murders your FPS.
  2. I plugged the 'ultra' numbers into the 'high' preset but couldn't see any difference.
  3. Strange one this - filed under the category 'once you see it you can't un-see it' As you pass through different strengths of G your pilot gets a 'kick in the backside'. When you hit 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G etc the pilot bounces in his seat. This is not plane-specific. Best to see it in action....In the video I gently enter a turn and gradually increase the G-load... And you'll also notice that as the G-load decreases the pilot bounces all the way back down again 5G, 4G, 3G...etc.
  4. I've mapped it on the space-bar. It's safely out of reach during normal flight but dead easy to hit when the bad people show up.
  5. Good info, thanks - it seems our 29 has a dicky damper.
  6. Happened to me a few times - what's happening is that while from your perspective you're performing a gentle turn/wing-over, from the engine's perspective you're entering a zero-G parabola - a bit like the vomit comet they use to train astronauts.
  7. I've tried with different SAR missiles but I'm not seeing the red launch indications.... I can lock & fire the missiles OK so I think I'm doing everything right.
  8. Good idea! :) I've divided the axis into nine zones but I could easily delete a further two (I don't think the GROM will even sit on pylons 3/4 so that can probably go). You're right it's a bit strange in practice, and my palm has a tendency to rest on the knob I'm using, but it works well - I'll see how it goes.
  9. From the video cro_mig_21 posted.... :)
  10. How 'limited' is the ground attack - just rockets & bombs?
  11. Ah, so they redesigned it....I was thinking they just welded the bottom half shut :)
  12. This sounds similar to the system in our Su-25A.
  13. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3652885&postcount=13
  14. Our version can't deploy the brake while the center tank is on or while the gear is down. I read somewhere in here that modern variants can use the brake but only the 'top half'.
  15. For the time being you'll need to watch the HSI/distance reading as you flick through waypoints. Wag's has said that WP numbers will be added to the HUD in a future update. I don't know if they'll also animate the navigation console.
  16. Can you elaborate on this? I'm looking to buy it for the exact same reason - tuning radios etc - but I'm not familiar with the 'switches' bit. Are you referring to scripting or something like that?
  17. The pitch thing is related to the leading edge flaps....the moment they deploy the nose pitches up suddenly. Whether that signifies cause and effect I don't know - but watching real-life in-cockpit Mig-29 footage (the rear facing videos where you can see the LEFs deploy during maneuvering) I haven't yet seen anything like the behaviour of our 29. The flight model is still being worked on so maybe this is all v0.99 gremlins.
  18. That's it really. :joystick:
  19. I'm thinking of picking up something like this for DCS.... ....but I'm not sure if DCS will recognize an extra six axes for the knobs. Does anyone have something similar, or know whether it will work OK?
  20. Great news, thanks Derelor.
  21. Thanks for the info chaps. I've just written a stern letter to Mikoyan and told them 2.5 minutes is simply not good enough and they must do better.
  22. Is there any reason not to leave the restart switch on all the time?
  23. Sorry to dredge this up - I'd often wondered about the high-pitched noise and by coincidence I recently watched this video analysing a P-51 crash.... (13:20 in case the time-code doesn't work)
  24. F-14 looks great but just to add to the chorus the 23, for me, is much more intriguing. Roll on 2021 :)
  25. Maybe....but let's see if it gets fixed with the release of MAC.
