  1. I always do the same - get close to the target area then cruise up & down scanning from the side. You can see where the TPOD is looking on the EHSD - there's a small diamond (iirc). Until the slave function is implemented/fixed you can use it to slew the pod over waypoints or wherever.
  2. Set fuzing to IN.
  3. If you hop onto Youtube and search for 570 vs 1060 you'll find loads of videos comparing GFX card performance. e.g.
  4. The OP is talking about changelogs not changes. Nobody's demanding weekly fixes - but if you do release fixes or changes into the wild then maybe tell us what was fixed or changed?
  5. If it's the same video I watched (Redkite's?) then disregard that piece of info - it was a bug, the localizer behaves properly now - thank god.
  6. Ooh you're getting novichok'd
  7. Change-log tomorrow?
  8. When did this change happen? Like Fox I'd previously never touched the fuzing for Mavs.
  9. Not yet functional.

    Flying the F51

Hit escape; from menu hit 'Briefing'; hit 'Fly' It doesn't reset the mission but it puts you back in a fresh aircraft.
  11. edit: i just found the other thread - never mind edit: i just found the other thread - never mind
  12. I see they are way ahead of me. I think I must have been doing it wrong - I was expecting to bring up the DMT video feed while the target point was outside its FOV.
  13. Is there, or should there be, a way to slew the DMT to the target point created by a CCIP designation? As it currently works you have to wipe the target point before you can summon the DMT....which seems a bit of a wasted opportunity; would be great for BDA.
  14. That's the AoA indicator (if you mean the caret) e: sorry, misunderstood you
  15. e.g. Wouldn't it be great? For all the sophistication of the VTOL HUD display I'm surprised there's nothing to tell you you've started going backwards. Doesn't the real thing have this?
  16. The Harrier has this, too.
  17. Are you using AUTO? because it's bugged. Try with CCIP.
  18. The 130 TACAN does work - however - the other night I set up a simple refueling mission and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work. So I deleted the mission, built another one and it works fine. So either it's a bit glitchy or we're doing something wrong. Here it is if you want to muck about with it.... AV-8B Refuelling test.miz
  19. I'm using r via my throttle profile - don't remember if r is the default key.
  20. Works OK here (same version)
  21. True. I'm this close to buying a Saitek Quadrant just for some dedicated lever action.
  22. The stop lever (in-game) moves in increments of 2° if using the mouse-wheel and 1° if using an axis. The reason for the tool-tip is to let you fine tune the stop-lever to, say, 82° without the pain of juggling the two levers while trying to watch the HUD.
  23. I never use 'Default' so I haven't tried - they're generally uglier due to their constant LOD changing and they are much more demanding on the GPU.
  24. Between a Hornet, Harrier or F-14 the correct answer is....
  25. There seems to be a conflict of advise here. According to Chuck's guide during a vertical landing you should apply 4° nose down while in-flight. According to the official pocket-guide it says 4° only once you're down. I've tried applying 4° nose-down during approach and for the life of me I can't understand why I should; beside the problems in radically upsetting the aircraft or knowing when you've dialed in negative 4° trim it also means flying with the stick jammed back into your private parts. :joystick:
