My entire squadron has tried this and it doesn't work. But at least now we know it's a bug rather than general incompetence on our part, so that's comforting. :thumbup:

Hi! Just want to start off by saying thank you ED, the F/A-18C is a dream come true! I've been searching for how to disable the moving map on the HSI so you just have the symbology but I can't find squat! If anyone knows anything, that'd be much appreciated!

A buddy started downloading, then canceled the download when he saw BIGNEWY's post. Then checked the downloads folder and it showed a 2.5.1 version number. But who knows, he might just be really incompetent..... :D

It seems forcing the update installs 2.5.1. I'd advise waiting for the official update.

IIRC, the Caucasus theater is based on Georgia as it was in 2008 or somewhere around that time. Queen Tamar Airport wasn't completed until 2010. That's why it isn't in there.

+1 It'd be really awesome to have a dedicated AWACS aircraft instead of the pesky F10 map. And if you make the E-2, you might as well release a C-2 too. Then we'll have both our first AWACS and our first transport. Imagine doing night traps in those babies. Gosh! :joystick:

Am I the only one craving a RA-5C so I can do reconnaissance runs in downtown Vietnam? Basically, it was a cold war nuclear strike bomber turned reconnaissance aircraft which was the intelligence workhorse of the vietnam war. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I fly DCS for the REALISM! Now that we finally have our first ever combat sim with multiple highly detailed combat aircraft from different eras, we're going to ruin it by creating fictional maps and completely ruin the whole concept? I don't think so... :mad: If you want a desert map, make Kuwait. If you want jungles, make Vietnam. If you want mountains, make Korea. There's no need for fictional maps.

Really? I don't own the M-2000 but every time one flies by in MP they sound amazing. A lot better than most other modules IMO.

Imagine flying (A)FAC for Belsimtek's F-5 and F-4. Gawd! :joystick:
