Then most people al playing the wrong game... DCS is a simulation, it simulates aircrafts. How you want to pit those aircrafts against each other is the mission builder problem...
-
You would need a FAC or AFAC (Fordwar Air controler or Airborn Fordwar Air controler. Some ground units do that but you need to know how to use the mission editor andI believe that there are soem nice scripts for it. Or you could look for A-10 missions with FAC or AFAC allready in place...

Radio does not work on MODs. its a DCS thing, you need a propper SDK (software development kit) to implement radios on a module. so only payed modules have radios working.

SO far that map would bring a cray computer to its knees... I would love any section of that map thow...

more building off of current modules to make content consistant?
Baco replied to WelshZeCorgi's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Sitill we have no actual historical conflict sites for most airframes. Onlly what iffs, and thats fine with me, but then again no assets to build acurate what iff scenariso neither in caucasus, PG or anywhere.. At least till sirya coems out, and then still no real siryanassets for any period, nor iranianassests for any period... so far DCS is a grate Sandbox Sim with very poor coherence... -
Yes please! And / Or incorporate the mods to the standard game!

Thanks a lot Mate! will put it to good use!

I live in Argentina where USD price is hi. So I am aming at a medium range rig. Questions: do I need a new flashy 2000's line Nvidia or will the new 1660 series cut it for DCS? I belive I can save a ton of money right there. since SSD and 32gb of ram are mandatory for DCS multiplayer. Bare in mind it might take me a few years to beable to update / change the rig. Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys! Welcome to DCS! best of luck, and Thanks for giving it a try! Anxious customer here ;) By the way, after you are donde with the Typhoon II we could realy use an ICE Phantom II in DCS ;)

not viable in DCS...

I would buy a J-5A. And yes it does add value: it has participated in as many conflicts as the mig 21, if not more. many more well done simple planes is what we need! And then maybe some more new people might chance it and try simple 60´s planes, and become new 3rd parties for dcs also...

Totally agree finish fixing 2.5.6, then make sure Super Carrier doesn´t brake it again, THEN release it ;) No point in having a new toy in a broken environment...
-
Grate job! Thanks for your time and for sharing!

+1 Naija planes are probably all green ;)

Maybe a good idea would be to charge a small suscription fee to acces EA models and Discounts. You kill two birds with one stone, less demanding "new planes" crowd, and less whining for double the income. Beacuse lets face it DCS is our fix and we will pay up and get a new module every so often no matter what hoops and obstacles we have to hurdle...

Yes please!!!!!!!

I stand corrected then. It makes sense, Nick names is an occidental concept...

Well regarding the A-10, I would wait till the New Warthog comes out, so you don´t have to buy it twice. the Harrier, yes more bugs maybe and even tho it is more feature complete as today, and it´s a more interesting bird in my opinion, will surely be on sale on the next season, while the Falcon will not. So if you are committed to buy a new module full price, today, go with the Viper. Its aplane you will want eventually, has lots of growing potential, and lots of systems to learn and enjoy in the end run, and its a cool jet ;). I still don´t have it because of a mater of principles, but its a bird I will eventually buy from ED when they come through with a few things.

I would not pre judge but, lets agree that the Corsair had a very distinctive sound, the Japanese called it the Whistling Death...

I Agree it would be a very interesting map. Specially with lots of plausible scenarios, FARP, Venezuela, Brasil clashes do happen more than often. With Bolsonaro in Brasil and Maduro in Venezuela, anything can happen, ad the volatile mix of Colombia and its FARP, and you can have a hundred and one conflict scenarios ...

Thats the thing, in MP DCS there is Launch and recovery happening at the same time. In RL I belive this would not overlap, there wuold be a Luanch time, then an expected recovery time, then a new cycle. with the exception of Alert 15 and Alert 5 aircrafts of course. Bare in mind that the sip must point into teh wind for this operations also...

Well Up to date I believe that Razbams MIII is going to be AI only.... a 90s MAlvinas/Falklands would not be realistic at all, in teh 90s we had a liberal government compleatly aligned to the US and NATO (some historians use the term carnal relations) LOL... and we only got better Skyhawks and the cancelation of our satelite luanching program (based on thE freaking SCUDs sadam was ussing).. dam him LOL. Anyways, a more credible scenario would be arround 2008 or 9, when we had the populist Kirchners in the government, that implemented very agresive policies (no flights, no ship tendering to any military british ship), and very irrational "anti-diplomacy" on the "Malvinas Cause", we had very good realtions with China and there even actually offered J-10s to replace our aging (ancient) Mirages , so JF-17s would not be to far of a strech...

I would pay the price of three full modules for an A-4 Skyhawk any model. By the way the A-4AR Fighting Hawk is Lockhead Martins TM, i dont know if McD's license would be needed if LHead would authorize....
