This module will be made regardless now, thats done. Its just a case of whatever we get at the point of launch. If it doesnt get funded now they will release it further down the line. 3) One of the benefits Ilya is selling is Alpha and Beta access, which is an unfinished version of the game, so your point about that being a BoS tribute is now mute Pman

I didnt say it wasnt possible. I said they have issues... Having spent 7 months now running VA I have tried many different combinations to optimise the performance on the server. Only my opinion from my experience.

I asked Yo-Yo about those when I saw him last, they made them specifically for the ED guys and pilots. I am still hankering after one ;)

VPS servers have issues with the directx rendering as you have to effectively launch DCS to get the multiplayer working (even with the render turned off) As such you need a dedicated machine really (thats what VA are using) with a decent gpu chip to prevent server stuttering Pman

Got it to work on headless (I think) If you connect via RDP the problem is that the server "locks" behind you, similar to hitting ctrl, alt and del to lock a pc To prevent this, go to start, then run, then use this command tscon 1 /dest:console This will disconnect a server session without logging out behind you Pman

Exactly right, the game is extremely unstable at the moment and without it being fixed there is little incentive to do anything else

Well I know that we need them in DCS:W for the Virtual Aerobatics server as we have already decided to stick with DCS:W for my server. I think it will mainly be for airshows and freeflight servers that will see a combination of Eurofighters and Spitfires :) Pman

Other then aircraft that I know are being done already I'd take a Harrier Gr9 followed by a Mossie I think. I like the idea of a Hunter as well Pman

I agree that the B17 would be brought by alot of people, although a nice gesture I think something like that should really be kept for the latter stages of when you want to sell products. Dont give all your aces away during a KS programme ;) Are you doing an AFM for the 262 anyway? or would it be flyable with SFM for the extra $50k target? If the former I would say thats a good target to put in and more likely to be achieved within the time thats left. Thats where my vote would go, a flyable 262 over a potentional $100k needed for another fighter. But whatever you decide you should do it quickly :pilotfly:

A lower stretch goal would help My personal opinion would be SE england first and then the B17, simply as a take off/landing area for the P47 and Spit Pman

Yes this was a hack. I have spoken to a couple of guys who managed to do it, it uses a very very simply sfm and the engine start/off doesnt work along with most other things. Pman

I'd look at Edge coming in the summer if I were you ;) You may see some of Nevada this year, but from what I've been told it wont be in edge Pman
