"Down the road" is as good as years and years from now or...never. ED is not a big company that can turn out high fidelity modules at a rapid pace. I love the work they do and I've spent hundreds on their modules and maps. That said, a little flexibility in how the modules are coded is not debauchery, and it is easier to start that near the beginning of a project instead of after-the-fact. Just put a * on it and say "Only used by Egypt, Iraq..." and move on.:smilewink:

Nice HC_Official! Does anyone actually buy WinRAR? Or do we all just continually close the window in perpetuity? The only reason I have the free trial is to view archives uploaded in the ED user files. Again, please, ED, put a filter in the user files to block RAR uploads. It's just an unnecessary nuissance.

Any reason why we have skins and other user files zipped with WinRAR on the ED website? Why not filter it so that only zip is allowed? I don't understand why people archive their stuff with 3rd party software when windows does it for free with a simple .zip file. I dream of a PC without the need for WinRAR...:pilotfly:

They are easier and more stable these days. Obviously, you shouldn't mess with it if you don't have problems, but... Good luck to you!

Blue screen is not a good sign, and it's not likely to be a DCS problem. When was the last time you update your bios? I had blue screens last year and I realized I had never updated mine, and they were pre-release or something from when the x470 was brand new in 2018. Haven't seen one since updating.

No, my point is that even if both sides had the exact same missiles, the blue fighters afford more SA. That is undeniable.

IMO, the biggest advantage in the Blue planes is not the missiles, but the situational awareness they afford.

It's the not servers' fault. Airquake can be fun and allows the opportunity for rapid practice/improvement. It's the difference between DCS modules and FC3. The F-14 can pull 12G too, and rip the wings right off!:joystick: FC3 planes are relaxed realism in more ways than just avionics.

You need to download and run a script like MOOSE or MIST for unlimited respawns. It is super easy to do. Welcome to the addiction. With MOOSE... Mission start trigger runs the MOOSE script file. Another mission start trigger does the script "Aggressors = SPAWN:New( "F5 Aggressors" ) Then have the flag attached to your radio menu do "Aggressors:Spawn()" Add an action that turns the flag off The flag should be a switched condition. The name for the f5 needs to match the unit, not the group. If it is a multi ship flight the whole flight will spawn with the first. Now you can spawn away with the f10 menu.

The sky is falling!!!!;) The beautiful thing about DCS is that mission makers have the options/tools. We have ways to limit loadouts; we can limit the F-16 to 2xAGM-88 even if ED allows 4x. No harm has been done and everyone can be happy (unless people are somehow bothered by what someone does in singleplayer???). I'm all for the Aim-7 on the F-16. This is pretty different because right now there are F-16Cs that carry the missile.

I'm not sure if it is realistic or feasible to ask for more variants. Is it? I love ED but they have a lot on their plate. I have to disagree with the idea of limiting the DCS module to represent one specific airframe. I can't change it, but I remain utterly unconvinced by the approach. ;) Better to let the users/customers decide which exact type of Viper they want in their mission.

And what if some other country or air force can use it? This is the most widely exported aircraft in the world.
