Hi, as many of you I guess, I started playing flight simulators on my beloved C64 in 1989, and grown up as a fixed wing pilot. I made some experience with helos when Jane's released its own AH-64D Longbow 2 but I left that game tanking dust on the shelf when Jane's Released F-15E the very next year. I don't think to be a real "choppa guy": I bought BS2 (discounted) when started with DCS but never actually used it (and I don't think I will buy the BS3 update), howerver I always liked the Apache and I'm really tempted to give it a second chance and add it to my modules collection. So here are the real questions: - Is the module playable alone or you need a CPG? - Is it flyable with my HOTAS Warthog + TFRP or do I need some extra fancy controller? Thank you for your reply.

Mb-339 maybe? Almost finished, easier than the others...

Hi, Is there any use of MIDS switch in single player? I'm trying the adjust my HOTAS config to be as much as 1:1 with the real Hornet, hhowever I'm not sure if MIDS might be useful or not in SP.

-
320x200 resolution?
-
Again, no signs of 339 bugfix... This is becoming a sort of bad joke IMAO.
-
Just seen the change-log for new OB version 2.8.0.32235.1: no tracks of 339 fixes. Do ED just forget to add them the CL or... ?
-
In case, keep mist&ice and dirt as 2 separate options.
-

Thank you @gulredrel, looks like I've messed up with QFE and QNH: once set pressure to 1013 millibar (rotating the knob took forever ) on the ground, I get the altimeter mark ~1800ft, which is the correct value of the Nellis airstrip. Yet, all other modules I own properly set thew pressure when starting hot or on the runway: the Macchino seems to doing it only when starting in the air.

Dunno if this is a bug -- Altimeter center number
LordOrion replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in DCS: MB-339
Yep, I thought I had uninstalled it time ago... Thank you. -
Hi @ImJustDubzzz, thank you for your reply. However, the dirt stains I'm referring to are not due to the fogging effect. Please see the attached picture, (I took it with the plane cold and dark): if you take a look at the canopy on the right you will see some semi transparent dark stains, those are the ones I mean.

I've noticed this at release day but I tought it was due to an incorrect pressure setting: unfortunately I was worng. Starting from the groound, the altimeter (both digital counter and pointer) is locked at -750ft and start to count up only when the plane fly above ~8k feet. Going below that height, the altimeter locks again when reaching -750ft. See the attached picture: there I was at ~7500 feet over Nellis. Starting in the air, the problem does not seems to occur, although for the very first 2-3 seconds since the mission start the altimeter marks an altitude value which is 1000ft below the actual altitude, then it stabilize to the actual value.
