Really!? I use to fly with just a small table lamp (40W) (almost dark room), LOL. I didn´t know that because I didn´t have any problem, the only thing "different" about my setup is that I use Guardian disabled.

Hi, PD set to 2.5 is so good to read the cockpit that for me it´s a must. But I was not complaining when I said my fps is around 31, with Process Lasso is fluid and excellent. P3D is fine too, my problem is with XP-11, but that´s another story.
-
I have exactly the same machine and I have the same problem, I use PD 2.5 (I prefer) I get with my Rift S 31 frames max.Never got 40 fps. I repeat:i9 9900k, RTX 2080 ti,32gb RAM,2 SSDs.

It happens also in Case I (Instant Mission) Caucasus map (Altimeter needle stuck at 0 ft).

Exactly !!!!

Mr Rudel, this F-14 procedure in your kneeboard (pic) is excellent, would you please say where did you download it? Thanks!

That´s great! Thanks for sharing

Hi,I want to thank you for starting this thread too, I´m also in love with my Rift S but I never liked the night flight, the sky is smoky, foggy (I don't know how to express (say) this in English). I've tested with the kegetys sRGB fix, setting gamma higher or lower and nothing fixed, only thanks to this thread I saw that it's NOT only in DCS and also in P3D and XP-11.The same foggy, not clear outside view at night, so I think is something related to Rift S. My question is the same, does anyone figure out how to improve or fix this? Thanks!
-
I agree, same here. With i9 9900k and my old 1080 (with Rift S) around 20s, when I put the same system with the 2080ti the story totally changed. So yes, GPU. (or both)

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Hamilton replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I followed EXACTLY the steps described in README to uninstall: Uninstall: - Restore Bazar/shaders backup - Restore terrain metacaches - Delete files from C:\Users\<user>\Saved Games\DCS\fxo and metashaders2 directories. and gave an error message when trying to run DCS that forced me to do a DCS Repair of 8.6Gb :( -
It happens to me randomly with PG map (Instant Action Case I mission).

Yes!!!! Agree 1000%

Yes, I did that too, but even with those stiffer variant, the stick wobbles in the center when let go, maybe because TMWH stick is heavier than Virpil ones. I bought the VFX and I will check when arrive.

Awesome!! Thank you very much Chuck!
-
Great!! Would you please say what stiffer springs you used. Thanks

I was happy too, but after buying a new PC, I was stupid and updated the VPC software to the last Beta and I lost my second stage trigger button, and without the second stage (broken 2nd stage) if you set to fire with the first stage it does not work fine. :( EDIT: Problem fixed!

Thanks a lot!!
