  1. I concur, there is no way finding the tank using FLIR (unlike the trucks for that matter), only if you switch back and forth between CCD(?) and FLIR). And yes, new FLIR modelling is totally off. DIfferent materials heat up or cool down to always different temperatures than the surrounding, so if FLIR wants to imitate thermal image, any and all vehicles (even cold ones), building and man made structures should show up on thermal image with much better contrast that it does in DCS now.
  2. If we are talking about Mission 12, I can confirm that. Dropped auto, TacView shows accurate hit, but visually throught FLIR, the bomblets seem to disperse and explode way higher, leaving behind only small smoke puffs after the sparkle effect. Neither of the two rocfket launchers got damaged, first burst height was 1500 (they say it's the only working height), then tried it with HT 700. Same (no) effect...

Just FYI, I just bought the plastic sphere in the middle (to eliminate a little centre wobble), a stock spring (my WH was second hand with spring cut down) and the rubber ring with the big plastic ring around it for about 40-50 EUR incl. postage directly from Guillemot/Thrustmaster) at least within Europe (probably Portugal too). Just write them a mail. Reply will be sometimes days later, but they are very helpful, and keep what they promise.
  4. Yeah, but even better go to Discord or GitHub and take the .msi installer. At least I failed by unzipping and hand swapping things.

  6. I'm not sure I found any new target revealing after the original SCUDs with some troops around them were hit. I even looked up in TacView, after I could find the new targets for the life of me... What do I miss?
  7. Oh... I see now. That SA-9 is definitely not in any of the revetments you marked with red circles...
  8. I can't find both IR SAMs in the revetments. Found one, but didn't find the other...
  9. And until then we need to completely uninstall VAICOM anyway and make a slow repair to get COMMs menu back, correct? Can't we just somehow disable VAICOM within Voice Attack temporarily (by turning off plug-in support, or deleting VAICOM.exe or .dll maybe), or it is too deep integrated in Voice Attack?

  11. Unfortunately yes, or unfortunately no? So if we download those latest updates now, do we already get those with these new dll files, or this will come later, and until now we need to paste these new dll file sfor the fix?
  12. Hi Maxsenna, thanks for your great support. Do these new .dll files fix the problems you recomended to aviod recently by having rather the "last good" VAICOM 2.5.24 up than the latest version 2.5.26 to avoid some problems with Vaicom? Meaning also we can now upgrade to the latest version from all, replacing the older dll with these new .dll files?

  15. Hi There, is it just me, or are there others too who can't pull up COMM1 and 2 menus since the new update? Keybind checked in controller setup page, line lights up light blue when I press it, but in game, nothing appear, not even the general comms menu. Thanks for any feedback
  16. I dunno if its possible, but then you loose the ability to extend it to stop and stay at any intermediate position.
  17. Uhmm... should I open every single command for editing to see which command sends a "0"? I have now around 800 commands as far as I can remember from VAICOM Config window... or am I mistaken?

  19. Well I just fired up Voice Attack and VAICOM, started to watch a youtube video with sound, and after 20 seconds video jumped back to the beginning. Went right into VA listening window and found this:
  20. Gents, it looks like my Voice attack (or VAICOM?) sends out a "0" once in a while for whatever reason, no matter if in-game or outside. Like watching Youtube with VA still active on the tray, and all of a sudden the YT video jumps to the very beginning, which corresponds to the effect of a keypress "0". How can I check, what causes it?
  21. Well, it does not work. Even if I turn selector knob to MULTI, the moment I enter even just a single player F/A-18C instant mission (Ready at the Ramp), VAICOM disables TX3 and TX4. This is the apparent reason from the VAICOM manual, page 14: "TX1-TX3: For DCS aircraft with multiple MIC hotkeys, the plugin maps the available aircraft radios to TX1-TX3. If less than three radios are available for the current aircraft, one or more of these TX nodes will be disabled." Even if I have 4 radio PTT buttons set in SRS, and if I check SRS mapping and SRS Integration on the MP tab in VAICOM config window just to try it, VAICOM still does not let me use more than 2 radios. Thank for trying to help though.
  22. Just to clarify, I think they are two different things. I think MULTI position does not say it is supporting MULTIplayer (vs you said it doesnt support MP at all), it rahter says you have MULTIple radios instead of nomal (type specific numbers of) radios available. And if it will work in single player, then probably it will work also in multi, as multiplayer. Hope I wasn't confusing, just stating (and clarifying) the obvious rather... Again, thanks for both of ya ! Of course I will test it before saying anything more...
