  1. This is the lens effect, it has nothing to do with canopy reflections.
  2. Recently nothing snaps in them, it uses now a spring actuated hold-back mechanism, no part falling out of it. Watch this: Hold back bar function Sorry if misunderstood... And just for nitpicking on DCS, the color of the release sleeve color for the Hornet should be yellow, and not orange, as in DCS. Orange is for Rhinos.
  3. Just curious, did you check it?
  4. Probably a bug. It is supposed to be attached on the backside your nose wheel only after you stop in front of the chute. Watch this from 1:04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHdz9hcccpw&t=64s
  5. Would you please check in Controls selecting "Axis commands", when yo do not touch your joystick, is any white "input" line left or right of the field center visible on either X (Roll) or Y (Pitch) axis? If your joystick is really centered in neutral, there should be no white line at all in the middle on the axis line. If there is even the smallest white line, this would mean your joystick is not neutral, even when you do not grab it. Which causes exactly what you say, Master caution and I guess "Autopilot off" or something similar note when you try to engage Autopilot, because in game the aircraft senses a small input, and refuses to engage autopilot. Apologies if you already knew it...

    Why would you lean forward?...

  8. Guys, isn't it just the fact, that before pressing BALT, you do not level out the aircraft, and the aircraft just wants to go back to the exact altitude, where you pressed the button while still climbing or descending?... Just a thought...
  9. Looks like near_blind already pinpointed the likely root cause above? https://forum.dcs.world/topic/316334-ag-wpn-impact-stops-dcs-with-error-msg-is-it-just-me/#comment-5121966
  10. Also, in the briefing "once I hit the arc" means when I start or when I finish it? Because to offset to arc north needs a right turn coming in from the East, or... how should the arc look from top view after all?
  11. How the mission brief could have been clearer about that?
  12. Just wondering if this lag has anything to do for instance with the TGP zoom lag. If you bind it to a button or keypress, and you press that button, the zoom starts to move definitely with a 0.3 - 0.4 sec dely, and the zoom stops also with delay, when you release the zoom button. Sorry if OFF...
  13. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/316334-ag-wpn-impact-stops-dcs-with-error-msg-is-it-just-me/#comment-5121429 Beta Tester near_blind is already aware of this.
  14. Are you sure you are talking about the Orion 2 joystick base?... Product Meterial:Aluminum Alloy + Stainless Steel
  15. Just during MAV training, and only when targeting vehicles on the ground (and the camo MiG in the background too!). The bridge shot doesn't trigger it. (Or maybe it is about MAV type? K doesn't do it, D does...) All mods disabled, full DCS repair finished, re-try training, again the same hickup always at the very moment I just captured in this new screenshot. Then if I press then Enter ("OK"), it goes on. By the way the training mission narration/text doesn't mention a word about TMS Right for TGP auto handoff for MAV. The narrator just says "designate the target on TGP with TMS up short, then watch the handoff happening on the Maverick screen". But without TMS Right Short handoff doesn't happen. Hope this helps !
  16. Hi There, in the F-16C A/G training missions, just before any A/G weapon (except for the BDU-33 inert bomb) impacts the target, DCS freezes, and this pop up error msg comes up. If I press Enter, it continues as if nothing happened. I have ECHO19 Core and ECHO19 F-16C sound packs activated. Could that be the culprit? Thanks
  17. Oh... sorry I just bought the Viper, and wasn't following all updates earlier... Also haven't found it in earlier update changelogs (looking for keywords "auto" or "lase" at least)... Thank you so much !
  18. Where can I find some info about auto lase settings? Didn't find it in any manual available... Thx !
  19. Don't want to hijack the topic, but did the option "Saving User Snap Views" disappeared from game recently? I don't find it anywhere, and would be nice to have, as starting "head" position seems to be not consistent even with the same aircraft all the time. Thanks...
  20. Gents, I know there is an extra cams and springs package to buy, but anyone knows which type of stock springs and cams are built originally into the Orion 2 joystick base when it arrives? Any adjustment options short of changing to other cams and springs? Thanks
  21. What I meant is cloud base was meant to be at 14k, probably to avoid manpads, but in game cloud base is always around 12k. Was it intentional on your side, or is it dynamic weather that doesn't want to function right?
  22. Hay, did I just run out of luck with dynamic weather regarding cloud base being always around 12k, instead of 14k as in the kneeboard and in the briefing? Just asking...
  23. Hay King 39, on Mission 0 ("Arrival") wingman acknowledges to go to trail alright. But I didn't check his position after that, however on my long and a bit high final approach I just realized he is overtaking me (I slowed down to on speed AoA) and as he slowly overtook me below my right wing, he started to PIO up and down so violently, I had to abort and break left, when he followed me on my wingtip still oscillating like crazy. I had to order him to "Anchor here" to get rid of him and to land undisturbed. Not a showstopper, but not very comforting either...
  24. Hi Gents, pretty much every document about CV operation talks about joining the overhead stack at squadron preassigned altitudes, but then it talks about always the lowest aircrafts/squadrons in the stack commencing, then everyone above coming down one level and continue commencing by visually following the flow and commence to be on deck in a timely interval. But what can a "late aircraft or flight" do, if by the time he arrives, the stack already begun to collapse, and his squadron is already some levels lower than the original join altitude? Especially if it all happens zip lip? Anyone to clarify?
