  1. Anyone else having difficulties with WinWing F-16 stick button assignment? I'm pressing the button "Set Center", then in the row of Reset buttons, On/Off I press on the magnifier, it says scanning joystick, but if I press any button on the joystick, XRNecksafer just doesnt recognize it. I'm running the now native OpenXR version of the Open Beta DCS exe. Any advice would be highly appreciated. EDIT: after restart it worked OK.
  2. This gun pipper bug was mentioned several times in the last years under several topic subjects. As far as I know, ED still did not find what is the cause of it...
  3. And maybe correcting the briefing doc a bit...
  4. Boy, this is exactly what has always been missing from MS Flight Sim too, especially for long haul oversea flights... Kudos!
  5. By the time NCTR IDs you the contact type, you are way too close, with a missile probably already in the air from the escort, with your adress on it...
  6. Hi Badger, I also had the bombing issue, if I wanted to drop right after coming IN ZONE, in a shallow climb. Both bombs fell way short. Then I made a 620 KTS initial run before climbing out from behind the hills, and pulled up to I guess 40 degrees nose up, and kept going for another 5-6 seconds. Then both hit the proper target. But on the coord entry: I had no problem entering both coordinates into PP1 of each station, you just need to STEP before entering the second coordinates. No need to press PP2. With QTY boxing both stations, quantity will show 2, and holding pickle, both bombs come off almost simultaneously. BTW, part 2 has I guess a wrong voiceover, being over WP3 it is saying "Waypoint 3 ahead, begin decend" or something, when the next waypoint feet wet is #4 already.
  7. Sorry if wrong, but I guessed he means degrees per second movement of the stabilators. If he doesn't, then disregard, sorry. BTW, did you see this? https://forum.dcs.world/topic/322372-yaw-and-pitch-inertia-values-are-reversed/page/2/#comment-5266042
  8. I assume you already figured out how to "crosslink" what the two rows of refueling guidance lights tell you to do with your left and right hand to achieve proper positioning (left row is commanding your right hand, and right row is commanding your left hand)?
  9. No, degrees in second means G onset. When it stops in its "intended" final position, you have 0 degrees per second, but you still have G, don't you? G is determined by position (degree) of the stabilators, if speed doesn't change.
  10. You can not save.
  11. Actually I can see both file names now in the F-18 directory...
  12. Thanks for the update ! Just asking, does the .lua have new name? 2020 - FA-18C.lua 2023 - FA-18C_hornet.lua? All relevant .lua is now called "FA-18C.lua" in the game now...
  13. I just looked it up, it is a button. While at it, I tested the button with my TM WH Throttle, for me it takes about 2 seconds from full down to full up antenna elevation. Might be subjective, but for me it doesn't seem too fast at all. If you just "click" the button up and down, I think it is still reasonable adjustment speed, even on lowest bar setting. Or you might just select more bars, meaning bigger altitude coverage.
  14. I'm just guessing, maybe CASE III is mandatory until official sunrise time on that specific geographic location, just as in RL? Enough or not enough light is a bit subjective.
  15. Thank you !
  16. Gents, I'm a bit confused whether there is any default factory detent(s) on the stock Orion 2 throttle base? Or you only get any detent if you buy the finger lift kit extra? Thanks
  17. An easy workaround until better/official solution arrives, not saying anyone is right or wrong... This way the extremes of the range will still enable the "original" faster speed for SA, while the inner shallower parts slows down the too fast cursor speed for the FCR for "fine" sorting, but you still can use range or azimuth bump by yanking TDC stick to the edge. Adjust the initial steepness ("center sensitivity") and the point of transition arc with the sliders as you see it fit for your own taste...
  18. Good idea from ED to schedule the release of the latest (and pretty big) patch and a brand new map to the very same moment in time. They probably didn't see this coming, right?
  19. Oh... I see, thanks
  20. I'm sorry, but I just replied to Neailus to his video, where he apparently mixed up the FPM offset due to crosswind with his own POV being off to the right all the way. Where is the relevance of your reply to that?...
  21. Sorry, should have used the word "knob". But if you wanted to look up HMD functions, I hope you also tried the search for the term "HMD"...
  22. Contact WinWing Customer Service. They are pretty responsiv and willing to help.
