  1. Yup, I got confused, revoked, sorry...
  2. Mistake, sorry...
  3. So your problem is rather flickering IHADSS in one eye then? Could it be rather hardware related? Btw stating facts is not equal to lack of empathy just because you don't like them.
  4. Well I guess this just mirrors potential real life problem, if the pilot would have IHADSS in front of both eyes. That's why they don't have on both eyes, I think. So I think you should rather try to get to use one eye only, or not expecting to be able to align for both eyes. No pun intended.
  5. I did not mean your request being trolling, I meant my opinion hopefully not seeming trolling.
  6. Hope it is not trolling, but if ED would make any modul specific axis function matching one hardver type, owner of other hardvare type would complain for the other version, as DCS is a multi modul game, and most people own one type of control hardver. Or if they have more, I don't think they would swap it every time they change modul to play. On the other hand, there is always a workaround. I wish this would be the biggest compromise in the sim...
  7. Hi BD, in the TGP lesson, the yardstick excersise seems to be off. I measured around 250 m between the aircrafts, but none of the F10 menu reply options are close to this. The gal says it is 1/4 miles, which would be around 463 m, but if you measure from the middle of the south hanger (F-86) to the north wall of the North hanger (Viking-ish) on the F10 map, it shows 0,08 nm, which is around 150 m, but still far away from 1/4 NM. Maybe just nit picking... And the automatic reports of the STRYK approach seem to be a bit early, I dunno what are the triggers, maybe rather elapsed time dependent, than position? I flew my homework pretty pedantic (staying on HDG 80 after LSV 299/14), but auto reply reported Gass Peak and APEX way too early.
  8. Hi BD, any way to review the reason(s) why I only receive 50 (Draw) for any of the missions? Thanks
  9. Bring on the controls indicator, and check if your full physical brake pedal push brings the on screen control indicator brake sign all the way to the top. If it does, you can question brake efficiency simulation vs. reality. If it doesn't, you can check your brake pedal axis assignments and any fine tuning you implemented (curve, being inverted by default, or whatever else).
  10. Seems to me you are talking about keeping launch trim AFTER launch and expecting the Hornet to climb standing on its tail?.... If so, you are doing it wrong, casue the trim setting is only to have a slight climbing attitude after the end of the stroke. That will result in a large pitch up after launch with your nose pointing to the moon. I would suggest after cleaning her up, trimm back nose down to a more shallow climb and accelerate up to the speed waht the FPAS shows for best climb speed.
  11. YUp, no curves or any modification in any control axis...
  12. You should RIGHT click in the "APU 2-pos switch <ON> <OFF>" command row, AND in the Throttle column. After right click, select Add command, and switch the APU switch to ON on your physical throttle (it supposed to appear "Joystick button 20" in the cell). Then click OK.
  13. Thanks ! And how can the european members cope with the US time zone schedule? Just asking...
  14. Double recruitment?... No, wait a minute... triple??
  15. Hi Gents, If time zone doesn’t match (US, EST, GMT whatever), there is no point to go to any Discord or squadron homepage containing maybe the time zone info later on, I guess… So just suggesting, unless it is obvious by some other info there ("UK squadron", or something), it would be nice to sort it out already when looking at the topic title. Just my 2 cents...
  16. Could you please state anywhere among the infos here, what time zone you guys are operating? US? EU? If it doesn't match, no point to go to Discord, no pun intended.
  17. Hi Gents, with the old Hawg (C) I never had any problem with AAR since it came out originally around 2010-ish. (I know, anybody can say that... ) In the meantime I flew some other DCS types (with AAR) until Tank Killer came out, bought it recently, and now I couldn't hook up for the life of me. What I realized that the trim reaction/sensitivity is MUCH bigger/faster, whcih doesn't help to really fine tune the sweet spot. Another apparent change is the tanker boom is much slower in trying to plug in, it really just creeps around the receptacle. Apart from these, did anything else changed in the Tank Killer? ALspo, the tanker never flys straight and level. It looks like it is always trying to intercept some course/heading but always overshooting then correcting the other direction back and forth. Very shallow, bank, but definitely turning all the time. Anyone else? THX
  18. ...yeah, right after you were told to set the imaginary/training hard deck to Angels 16.
  19. It's not the end of the world, I just tought if you post in the proper topic, you will get more airframe specific answers without asking what you want advise for. No biggy!
  20. Maybe you should place your question in the corresponding airframe topic, but I can't even tell what type you are experimenting with, because you never mention it in your text.
  21. I would have tried first the same "bad" mission without VR, on a good old LCD... if on LCD the same error happens, then it is definitely not VR.... just sayin'...
  22. So it always calculates with present speed, but takes the length of the whole route to arrive to TGT waypont on time, right?
