  1. as long as SA page is not up and "focused"/SOI, because then the Recce Event button toggles SA EXP mode if TDC over a contact. In this case you CAN'T manipulate HMD. Drove me nuts, until rob10 came along...
  2. BTW, is SA EXP function fully implemented in game already?
  3. Hi Rob10, solution confirmed, if SA page is on and "in focus", Recce button can't blank/unblank HMD !!! Thx a million !
  4. Shieeeeet... OMG, I should have been born at least twice to figure this one out by myself. Respect Bro, and thanks ! Is this function mentioned anywhere in any manual by the way?... Just trying to figure out, where I must have missed this info...
  5. Thanks for quick feedback, I'll try to come back with a track.
  6. After turning on and aligning HMD before a carrier launch, I blanked it out with the Recce button. But 15-20 min into the mission, I couldn't bring it back on by pressing Recce button again. I dunno if there is anything I could have messed up, if alignment and blanking with Recce was the last thing just before taxi?
  7. In Mission "Looking for trouble" kneeboard reads (and voiceover says) tanker (Arco 1-1) frequency is Pri Ch1, 310.000 MHz. But Pri Ch1 is 318.000 MHz in game, and tanker replys too. Probably just a typo. A bigger problem is, that the tanker TACAN icon does not appear on the HSI, and under TACAN datas top left corner, no distance, just bearing to tanker. Is it maybe a last update bug? Also, if I turn on and align HMD, then blank it out temporarily with the Recce button (without ever turning the HMD rheostat to OFF), I can not turn it back on later with the Recce button. Dunno which is mission bug and which one is update bug... THX
  8. Care to share, what was the problem after all? Just for learning purposes to anyone ever encountering the same...
  9. So Kenny is fyling... (see video header)
  10. Whatever you wanna do on either "active" DDI, first always pess the Sensor select switch in the direction of the DDI you want to work on. Look for the "Focus DIamond" in the top right corner. YOu can't do too much, until it appears top right. It is tiny, so look closely.
  11. Yup, on the Control Options / F-18C Sim, in the drop down menu select Axis commands, in the "Left Throttle" line in the TM Warthog Throttle column he should read Joy_RZ, and in the "Right Throttle" line it should read Joy_Z.
  12. Hay Bankler, I love your mission. However, maybe due to the last update (?), when selecting any slot in the air, autoconfig starts setting things up, then gets stuck with the UFC button "2" remaining pressed in, and never finish (auto)configuration. Any chance you can look at it maybe? Thanks
  13. Gotcha. So in short, with Quaggles, you always modify the latest lua file, instead of always replacing with the old (edited) one, loosing new features in the process.
  14. Is it any different from having the edited/modified lua file itself in OvGME (with proper mod structure to apply)? Or it is a problem, if the original lua file changed in the update?
  15. What happens with these .lua modifications (for any modul) whenever there is a new DCS update? Or OvGME solves all your problem (if you deactivate modified .lua before updating, then reactivate the .lua file)?
  16. I see... I just realized, since the last update (?) the AAR probe extend/retract switch on the FA-18 works as it should, if mapped to the TM Warthog Throttle EAC switch. Which means if I switch up Warthog switch, in-game probe switch also switches forward and probe comes out, if switch back down, in-game probe switch flips back and probe retracts. Previously I had to cycle WH switch up-down to extend and same for retract. Interestingly however, if I map my in-game Launch Bar switch to my RDR ALTM on the Warthog throttle, it works, but inverted. If I switch Warthog switch up, in-game Launch bar switch flips down, and if I switch WH down, in-game switch goes up. Can it be reverted?
  17. Just for newcomers, what is it?
  18. I think things are getting mixed up quite a bit. Markpoint Z is always created after using any weapon on that particular spot, and only then you can do whatever you can do with any other STPT considered as a SPI, for instance broadcast it on DL, or acquiring it by other Tank Killer pilot with his HMCS. But Markpoint Z generating happens as a consequence of that shot with actually any weapon, any release mode. The HUD or IFFCC "SPI submode" to the contrary makes you able to use the TGP as a sniper scope to fine tune aiming, before pulling the trigger on the gun, because you can slave the TGP to the guns pipper even if the pipper never stops moving (until PAC-1 ) if you can't hold your pipper "still".
  19. That would show along a much longer period of time. And he's not talking about the need to change it once every half an hour or so, he is talking about uncommanded change continuing after a trim hat nudge in up or down direction.
  20. I would also check my controls, as updates use to randomly mess up previously flawless keybinds by duplicating command to another keys/axes. SO go into your controls list, and try to move your trim button up down, see if the highlight jumps to the line "Trimm", dna check (and delet if so) any other input key or axis in the same line. I had sometimes my right throttle assigned to the rudder after an update, or trimm hat switch reassigned to camera view motion an other oddities...
  21. Hello NineLine,

sorry if it's just nitpicking, but in the Apache features description it's written

    ...At final release:

    • Fire Control Radar (FCR) and Radio Interferometer (RFI)

while RFI in fact means Radar Frequency Interferometer.

Your choice if you correct it or not... 🙂

    Thanks

  22. What you meant is probably: you increase the area of airbrake on the side that you're pointing your stick away from. If you would really "decrease" it, it would just amplify your problem. Agree?
  23. But two weeks are mostly enough to find out if you can get used to VR step by step. At first try, flying Huey in VR, I had to put it down in 15 minutes to avoid throwing up... Then time span increased day by day, and after about two weeks it was gone.
  24. You're tha man! Thx! Yeah, it is not the SPU that is 100% by default, IIRC
