Hi Gents, the other day I flew a MP mission using SRS. On the top left SRS control panel I could turn up the R-828 (21.500 FM) volume (second row in list) from initial 50% to 100% using the in-cockpit volume knob on the right side panel, but the other radio R-800L14 VHF/UHF (124.000 MHz) remained on 50% all the time. How can I turn that one up to 100% also? Thanks a lot !

I think if we rather say SCS switch does not (just) sets the TDC to whichever DDI, but rather puts the Focus Diamond there (to show hich DDI is ready for any "action" on it), then we are a bit closer to a consensus?

When you try to call tower, are you at the hold short of RWY position?

I would maybe look up in the Controls, if pressing the Cage/Uncage button on your (I guess) joystick jumps onto the Cage/Uncage line in the controls list... ?

Do you have Easy Comms on? Do you have the proper frequency tuned in? Do you use the proper radio (1 or 2) for asking?

Thanks for confirmation. TBH I surmized so, as I had no problem going through targets during the weapons training mission without ever pressing the RESET button in between targets, just got a little confused watching the video, thinking maybe I still missed something during training? So thx again

Hi Gents, I just saw a gameplay video, where the guy pressed the RESET button on the left panel after every Vikhr shot. Is it really necessary? If so, what is the effect of it then, only boresighting the Shkval, or does it some more things too? Tanks a lot !

Hi Gents, yesterday during the startup training, after a good left engine start I forgot to turn on Fuel pump right and governor right before pressing Start right engine and right fuel valve lever open, which resulted in a no-start, where the turbine RPM fluctuated around 20ish%. But then I couldn’t start it even after correcting my mistake by turning on R fuel pump ang governor, pressing start again, and leaving fuel valve lever open, because then I had temperature stopping at around 100-150 °C but AFAIK turbine RPM at 0% and never moved up. What did I do wrong while trying to restart, or how can I correct such a no-start and succesfully re-start my right engine? Thanks

Look at your Control screen Axis controls Rudder pedal line. DOes the white bar extends left and right as you press your pedal? Good. Look at your nose gear while taxiing. Does it turn right and left, when you press your pedal? Good. In flight, does it yaw to the right and left as you press your pedal? Good. Now go fly. You will never be able to think like a fly-by wire flight computer.

Sorry if wrong place to ask, found only sporadic infos about it. Also, appreciate if someone points me to the right place to find more about this feature. Yesterday in a MP session, a Harrier tried to buddy lase for a Hornet using LGB, but it didn't work. Question is, is it implemented in DCS as a possibility, and we should look for some fault on our side, or is it not implemented yet, so it was not screwed up by bad settings or wrong launch parameters or something else fixable on the user side? If implemented, is it already in for any and all laser guided weapon and any and all moduls, or some of them yes, some of them no? Thanks for any feedback

When attacking the building, the IP is just 3.5 NM from the TGT. The problem is, if you tell "On final heading" for the Marines before you reach the IP, they will abort your run, telling you being poor positioned and try again. The problem is, if you take the requested attack heading (flying at 15k), and tell them "on final" only when you are 3.5 NM out, your countdown to drop is already within 10 seconds, I think I had 6 seconds left when they finally responded "Clear to engage". So I would move IP at least 2 miles back. I know it is bad because there are the embedded voiceovers and mission triggers, but this is really pretty tight.

Or what happens with the rocket if I don't lase anything just aim with the pipper? Thanks

I would also double check axis assignment. Not that you made anything wrong, it is just DCS having stupid or duplicated axis assignments by default, or after some updates. Sometimes I found the same function (pitch, roll, yaw, etc.) assigned to more than one axis at a time. For instance pitch beingn assigned to my Joystick Y axis and to the rudder pedal axis at the same time !!!
