  1. Hi BD, On the route leg between WP4 and WP5 the other Hornet group following the E-3 on his right side, gets up to the E-3's 3/9 line. As a result, when the E-3 begins pulling her turn to right and slowing down considerably, the Hornets flying inside her right turn slide so far ahead of her, that they break formation, and make a pretty chaotic right 360 to get back behind the E-3. While doing so, they also slow down, and then buster to catch up, but yesterday I think we even lost one of them in the turmoil, because when they got back into formation, they were only the 3 of them. Also, after WP7 the other group slows down pretty bad. Should I try to stay behind them (as if they would be a defense), or they also have to be behind me, so I need just to fly ahead of them, and they will follow? Thanks
  2. Pressing PrintScreen makes a snippet as the headset lenses see it, with rounded edge.
  3. The question was rather can I make one without the controller?
  4. In sims I don't use Reverb controller at all. Any keyboard bind for a 2D screenshot?
  5. Oh... if you do not use some HOTAS, you have a little more chance with the keyboard, but then, there goes the immersion...
  6. Two different aircraft with two different control setup. Sorry, but I'm not sure what you are asking is feasible.
  7. Guess this fix will be applied during the next update whenever?
  8. See atached. Pdf properties says it's from 2020. June 27. R1 M14 Kneeboard.pdf
  9. Case II weather requires the lowest ceiling to be 1,000 feet or above and 5 NM visibility. Case II is normally called for when an overcast layer is present.
  10. Just wondering, how comes nobody brought this up earlier...
  11. Hi BD, my kneeboard shows LSR CODE 1689. But this is not even a valid CODE format (as last digit can't be above 8), and sure enough UFC rejects to take the last digit when I press 9. If trying 1688, it takes it no problem. I know I could work around it by choosing another valid CODE, but not knowing the code of the other Anvils, I don't want to accidentally interfere with their drop with my random code taken. FOund on multiple topics in this forum: laser code first digit is always 1, second is 5, 6 or 7, third is 1 through 8. Now what?...
  12. I dunno which topic is appropriate for it, but now the Hornet seems to me much more instable along the longitudinal axis, in other words you need to constantly trimm the aileron to remain level. Previously I never had to. Only me, or do others experience it too?
  13. Not flight model related, rather AI related. You need to always climb after disengaging the mock fight, otherwise he will Split-S into the ocean.
  14. But to do that, you need to fly the mission individually, "outside" of the campaignt, don't you? (also admitting, I'm not a ME Guru)
  15. Yeah, I already disabled it for sure...
  16. Thanks. After downgrading and restarting, it says "2.25.3 is available, listing DCS 2.7 compatibility". Will the lack of this update cause me any problem with DCS 2.7?
  17. Hi Gents, Easy Comms is OFF in DCS. VAICOM PRO is running. Voice Attack listening page writes for all commands following error message: Command "......." is currently disabled for this session and was not executed. What am I doing wrong?
  18. Ever tried Voice Attack?
  19. No problem then, thanks.
  20. Yes. Make sure you climb back up after every engagement instead of descending.
  21. Hi BD, in Mission 12 I can't have the wingman do anything for me. Comms2 (Aux) is set to Channel 1 (Flight), command goes out on Comms 2 but nothing happens. No formation change, not even any acknowledgment to any command. Did last update mess up something again? THX
  22. I kinda knew that. But arent tutorials supposed to help in that? On your note, why are there even pointers for the switches in the tutorial? Shouldn't you learn those too?
  23. Hi Magot, thank you for the precious translation! Just to make it complete, could you please translate what the narrator said at 12:59 please? I guess it is something about the manual throttle levers to check the engines one by one, but it seems to be missing from your original translation. Sorry if it is only a time stamp offset...
  24. Nope. I always descend pretty low before slowing down so that there will be not too much height to delicately loose in hover.
  25. First, you need to start slowing very early. The Hind is a squirell and a whale in one heavy body. You will need to watch two gauges mostly: speed and VVI. When starting to decel, reduce collective so much that VVI is at, or just a bit below 0 m/s (actually, you can even descend faster, until you do not slow down near transitional speed). You will need to reduce MUCH collective, once you lift the nose up, and keep it there. Then watch your speed indicator going down. There will be a certain speed (I didn't try in Mi-24 yet, so dunno from the top of my head), when you will see your descend speed increasing, because you start loosing transitional lift. Note this airspeed, and anticipate the the increasing descend speed next time at this very speed by increasing collective back up as much as to arrest descent, because if you let it go below 2-3 m/s, you can't arrest it any more. So watch VVI and try to keep yourself from descending too fast by ading collective (with corresponding right pedal to counter torque effect), to maximize descend speed less than 2 m/s. Then when you slowed down, push the nose back down just as much as not starting backing up, just hovering. I dunno how to describe it better, hope this helps some.
