  1. A-8 did not use C3 injection. A-8 had "erhöhter Notleistung" and that was something like supercharger boost regulator "by-pass", it allowed to increase MP from 1,42/1,42 to 1,58/1,65 ATA. C3 injection was used only for F/G attack models up to 1000m altitude.

  3. 18 players in 16 planes from CS comunity performed "Operation TETRIS", we took off from land base and flew to land on CVN . After landing there, all of as, we took off from CVN and returned back to base. We wanted to get as many as possible players on the deck, that was the main goal. Finaly 8 F-18s, 5 F-14s, one AV-8, one Su-33 and one Mi-8 on the deck. Not all of as have experience with formation flying and CASE 1 landing.

  5. According to Russian forum here, server has "connection lost" with the internet.
  6. The same for Dora after using WEP with MW, after landing when engine was off, loud "bang" was heard and then engine wouldn`t start again. Propeller was jammed and did not rotate in any way. It happened to me several times with D-9... WEP seems to be common (and unsoved) problem for all planes in DCS which have this engine mode.

  8. It is because "stable" DCS W and "beta" DCS W are different after patch for beta issued last week. The most of servers are running on beta DCS W.

Unfortunately damage model of ground units is something with the lowest quality in DCS W. 3 kinds of ground targets are here... 1st lights, you need "only one bullet" hit to kill it, they are trucks, trains, some AAA .. 2nd medium, short direct burst kill them, APCs, btw. SAU Msta and so on, but not M12 Gun Motor Carriage .. 3rd hard, these are tanks, M12, etc. "undestroyable" with guns, you can kill them only with direct bomb hit .. That is way how do i divide them according to my experience.

  11. When i am performing LTS MASTER TEST in pilot cockpit, lights (in RIO cockpit) inside PBs in LANTIRN control panel illuminate even LANTIRN with control panel is not installed. see picture
  12. You have to map master switch for external lights. It is in Options/Controls/Throttle/Exterior Lights Master Switch ... Switch is placed on L throttle and is invisible.
  13. You will do nothing in that case, because of oil pressure lost witch means inability to control propeller pitch.. if you want fly as long as possible in that case, do NOT do it that way... If engine is windmilling, the way how to achieve the best glide flight distance is to set LOW propeller RPM, full backward propeller lever - the highest possible propeller pitch. Higher propeller pitch means lower drag for forward plane movement. And higher drag for propeller rotating... when engine is without power and only windmilling decreasing propeller pitch (high RPM) - increase total drag - shorter flight distance increasing propeller pitch (low RPM) - decrease total drag - longer flight distance
  14. Hello, after today's patch AIM-9 seeker does not move when i select missile. It does not scan. It holds ADL, it looks like boresight mode even if it is not selected (BRSIT switch is not pusched). I tried that switch, but nothing has changed. When i lock contact by radar and that lock it is not in HUD area then i select AIM-9, the seeker immediately lock target, like SEAM mode is select. But it is not sected by me, green lights for SEAM mode does not light. (when set SEAM it lights) I can not be sure if i do not something wrong, but it worked few days ago correctly and i am not only one with this issue now.
  15. The same for me, nearly every exit from DCS W to Win ends with black screen.
  16. it is help for carrier landing i think, there is diamond and when it is in green part, the plane is in correct pattern
  17. never modeled for Spitfire.. for Mustangs it works, it does not change maximal MP value, it change critical altitude, when filtered is selected, supercharger critical altitude is lowered
  18. If i use keyboard kommand, fuel tanks will fall, it works for both tanks and both Spitfires. But lever will remain in "Up" position and will not return to "Down" position like after mouse click on it, that is probably bug. If it is bug, it is definitively not critical.
  19. No, it will not damage horizon. It will cause horizon misalignment due to plane movement in third axis, Yaw. Horizon measures and shows only Pitch and Roll movement, but Yaw movement have effect on horizon gyroscope too. Align plane, just try to fly straight without any roll, pitch and yaw movement, and then align horizon, there is no another advice or help..
  20. Do not taxi with unceged horizon! Uncege it before take-off after you line up with RWY. During flight, just fly with ball in the middle. These will help to keep horizon works properly. This instrument is old technology without correction of errors caused by turns. (means rotation around the vertical axis - Yaw)
  21. Do you mean "Rearming an Refueling Window" on picture? Use keys "LAlt + ' " or open Radio Menu and F8 then using F1 you will open the same.

  24. +1 this keeps me off from server, please shut it off it is completely useless...
  25. If you do not change fuel quantity you have fuel only in left and righ fuel tanks after mission start, it is default setting in mission editor. So, it is correct if your engine stops when you switch fuel selector valve in to another position except left or right fuel tank. And bug is here with lack of fuel in external fuel tanks when you take them and empty fuselage tank when you set 100% fuel. Not sure if this bug has been solved so far.
