  1. I had this installed today, as part of the Win10 H2 advanced feature update... haven't had a chance to try it out. But I noticed the update said "lower resolution mode" which my 3090 and G2 are set for neither. I'll check it out nonetheless, and report back when I can (tomorrow).
  2. Gracias! I've been tinkering, and appreciate the link!
  3. oh my word... I don't know what to say... my new 3090FE is just awesome paired with the G2!, (vs. my old GTX1080SC). I need to figure out how to capture/post the fpsVR results. Regardless, with my FE, I'm so totally impressed! I'm going back to flying for now.... :)
  4. Woot, woot! Picked up my 3090FE today, (ordered it last Friday via Bestbuy). My word, what a friggin beast! I just installed, and will do some shakedowns today. Will post another update soon...
  5. Managed to get some time and setup my G2. I'm still using the GTX1080SC at the moment. (Hoping to pickup the 3090FE on Friday). The color and resolution just isn't "popping" for me. To be honest, my first flight in the P-47, and I felt like I was still using my Rift S. I'm set at 90hz for the frame rate. I also made sure to set my SteamVR to about 50%, (to get as close to the 2160 resolution as possible). Also, in DCS I reset the PD to 1.0. I do like the adjustable IPD slider on the headset, and adjusted a little via that too. As I noted, things just don't appear to be a big diff compared to my previous Rift S flights. Yeah, I know, I'm doing something wrong... But I'll keep digging, and I know it'll get better. Plus, once I put in that 3090FE badboy later this weekend... :)
  6. Woot! got my G2 today! Hoping to pickup my RTX3090FE on Friday, (via BB). Should I hang tight until I have the 3090? Or just launch in tonight with my EVGA GTX1080SC for the shake down? :)
  7. me too, I have a 3090FE inbound. :)
  8. Cool beans! thank you for the update, and looking forward to it!
  9. scan the site for PointCRTL. Maybe something to consider (if you're wanting to press buttons and click switches, etc)
  10. Cool beans, thanks... FYI - I live right next door to WAFB, (rather the former).
  11. Yep, there's one in Chandler. I drove by it every day, when I was still going onsite for work. But having been WFH for the last 8 months... It's a real weather beat thingy.
  12. Ditto, I'm shown as backordered too...
  13. thanks Steve, glad I've got a G2 in the pre-order pipeline.
  14. Yes ol' buddy!
  15. holy smokes, this is awesome!!!
  16. same here, no issue for reading it in on the first try.
  17. rolled the dice and purchased.... will install and try out tomorrow. :)
  18. Perfect! and thank you buddy! :)
  19. Hi K-51, I'd like to be added as well. Understood that the list is long, but this is well worth the wait! :-) thanks!
  20. Once I went VR, I haven't touched CA... Would be great if VR support was added, but alas, not on the roadmap.
  21. cool link, thank you.
  22. I've been using a separate NVMe drive for my O/S, one for the flight sims, and one for the page file. Working great. Just gotta watch your MB settings to make sure you don't install peripherals that could impede the full bus speed of the NVMe and your PCIe thingy's... I had to do a little rearranging, but I'm at full bus speeds for all...
  23. I'm scanning around and looking for "new posts" as well. It's been my daily routine to scan the DCS forums as such... My luck, it's probably right in front of my face... @NineLine - are you meaning the "last activity"?? that doesn't quite give the functionality of the previous "new posts" in the old interface. If so, I need to figure out the navigation. Seems a clumsy. Click on a new activity item, when finished, I want to navigate back to the listing of new activity items, it throws me back into the forum top level categories.... I'll dig further, maybe it's a customization setting I need to update....
  24. Cool! Thank you buddy!
  25. exactly. any competent supply chain model accommodates for such "planned" events, one would think...
