  1. If you mean the map that displays your flight plan, it is a dynamic DCS feature .. not a static image file that you can delete. If you mean the navigation charts that some maps have, their image files are on the Kneeboard folder of the respective map, for example for caucasus they are at: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\Kneeboard
  2. The VPC Airfield objects mod includes a streetlight post, in case it fits your need:
  3. No, no shadows ... but, do you prefer the top picture? an improvement is an improvement, wouldn't you say?
  4. That expression sounds a tad dismissive, while in my opinion Massun's lights are actually pretty useful, as the lights at many DCS airports do not actually cast light on objects placed by the user, for example: You can see ... the aircraft is black in spite of being very near a lightower. On these cases I add to that tower one of Massun's lights, to get this: Unfortunately, they still do not cast light inside the cockpits, but at least the aircraft is being illuminated.
  5. The VPC Airfield Objects Mod has an F-150 pick-up, maybe it could suit you?
  6. Whenever I come across a good tip on the forums, I do a copy/paste into one of my "Tips" documents, as I always have little luck with searches
  7. Here is some info on that:
  8. It works for me, with the "L" key.
  9. Hi, I still have them on my mission stash, but haven't flown them since 2017. My guess would be that the changes that the Normandy map has had rendered the missions obsolete and that's why Reflected deleted the entry at User Files. Eduardo
  10. It was present on version 2.1 of this Mod, but was dropped when the Mod became part of DCS. My guess would be because Massun couldn't obtain a license from General Motors.
  11. The Readme is generic and applies to the objects of the original Mod, it is not specific to the Lights & Personnel. This is as intended, the lights are just lights, they do not have any structure attached to them. You use them by attaching to existing objects, for example here I have placed 2 lights on each shelter: This is how it looks without the Mod:
  12. Wish Plexus could do the An-2 for DCS, after they finish the La-7
  13. Great Mod, I just love all your ships, they add so much to DCS: Wish your health issues will slowly improve, I will have you present on my prayers. A big Xmas hug and my best wishes for the new year
  14. Seems to me that you are projecting your DCS use-case onto the whole community. It may be a surprise to some, but not everyone here is a competitive multiplayer gamer, there are some users who actually enjoy the simulation, and learning the in and outs of a new DCS aircraft and dont care if it is not an ultra modern aircraft .. I can even enjoy a Fw190 or a Sabre, dont need a super missile to be a happy Simmer.
  15. Wonder why you affirm that, the manual of the real aircraft says: "The CADC senses airspeed and determines the amount of control surface movement required. The aircraft can be safely flown without SAS aug-rnentation throughout the entire flight enve-lope. However, augmentation improves handling characteristics and may be desirable for particular missions." so it seems plausible that when rolling the aircraft the SAS would operate the rudder to avoid sideslips.
  16. Rudder assist is for tail dragger aircrafts, the F-5E does not have that option.
  17. Thanks a lot, looking forward to these liveries
  18. maybe you have the SAS activated: "The stability augmenter system (SAS) automatically positions the horizontal tail and rudder to damp out pitch and yaw oscillations and also provides manual rudder trim. With yaw damper off, rudder trim is inoperative and returns to neutral."
  19. ED provides an utility for viewing its 3D models and liveries in great detail, a tool that you use when creating new liveries or when editing training missions. The utility can't be used with the new F-5E because the base files are now in an encrypted format, such that even ED's own Model Viewer 2 utility can't view them.
  20. Hopefully not, if they do I will most likely pass-up on this DCS Module
  21. looks gorgeous, I look forward to flying her .. in fact I purchased the 339 mostly to support the Gina development, as I already had two trainers in my hangar.
  22. maybe useless for MP .. fortunately it is pretty useful on Single player, so I’m glad to have it.
  23. it doesn’t … its one of the differences with the standalone version
  24. A Christmas video:
  25. Hello, I saw the log file but the Sa342 seems to be loaded properly ... earlier you say that the problem is "Now I can no longer find SA 342 in DCS settings" ... exactly what do you mean? Do you not see this: Also, you seem to have an awful lot of User Mods loaded ... does the problem still remains if you disable your User Mods?
