  1. There is actually no tail wheel lock. And did you make sure the gear level is mapped correctly and the correct lever is moving? Because the gear lever is the middle one and has a travel lock to prevent it from being put into the retract position. So make sure you lift the travel lock before trying to raise gear.
  2. Just to let you know, in DCS, only the ILS for the active runway is turned on. The one for the inactive one should be turned off, which might explain your ~50% success rate. Also it needs like about 5 knots at least to force a specific runway to get active.
  3. There is obviously no timeframe for this and other than "We will share if we have more news" is the only answer you'll get from ED. So it's coming whenever it is ready, in a few years or so.
  4. Expecting that they are still working... Until they get fixed, you should use the floodlights from Massun that have been added to the game some time ago.
  5. A bug that will be fixed in the next patch.
  6. Turn off the arcade game mode or whatever it is called in the settings. Apparently it is non-finctional and will keep the aircraft on ground. But yes, it has a parking brake, but that gets turned off as soon as you use the brakes. The parking brake simply holds the brake lever in the pulled position with a simple pin. The rest of your setting and setup sounds correct.
  7. Hard to say why you are having this issue without any concrete informations from you. It can be wind, or an incompete INS alignement, or INS drift perhaps. Can you upload a short track?
  8. I interpret that text different. Nineline said "The DCS: World War II Assets Pack will continue to grow [...] and free asset additions that includes". I do take that as a confirmation that we will get them, as AI of course.
  9. Lancaster, Typhoon, Bf-109G6, B24, B25, B26. As per:
  10. And how's the progress coming along for implementing the missing aircraft of the assets pack that we were supposed to get?
  11. No, it has been added to the game a long time ago. You just equip it in the rearming window and use the dedicated smoke keybind to de/activate it.
  12. Usually a short description helps people figuring out what you are trying to achieve...
  13. Open Beta and stable have been unified a long time ago. There's only one version now.
  14. You should be able to, except campaign missions I think. I don't know their exact location but I think you should be able to navigate with the mission editor browser into DCS/mods/aircraft/Mosquito and you should be able to find them somewhere in there if I'm not mistaken.
  15. Then please attach a track so we can check.
  16. The ruler of DCS can be put on the map anywhere you want and gives you TH, MH and distance based on the unit you selected. The compass he mentioned is that gigantic purple compass rose you have on the F10 map that you can move around.
  17. I did, and I hoped that I could show you an alternative to paying money... But apparently not.
  18. The second frequency listed? Isn't that the HF frequency? Because the radio is VHF, so you put in the wrong frequency. It's frequency range is between 100MHz and 156MHz. So it should be the first frequency listed that you have to put in.
  19. Perhaps these servers run the dynamic spawn, hence why no aircraft looks to br available. Have you checked that? Believe it or not but some people do not share the same mindset. Some want to have fun, some want a challenge, and a balanced planeset is not what they consider fun or a challenge. Perhaps instead of moaning about a server that doesn't fit you, why not just look for a different one?
  20. We already have that, it's called "ruler". Though the ruler is only available as one instance, not multiple. Unless you had something else in mind, if so, feel free to elaborate further.
  21. Since you cannot change the frequency for that radio inflight, you have to preset the correct frequencies in the mission editor BEFORE you are flying the mission. And then you only have to use the dedicated radio PTT button and it should work.
  22. If nothing tells you what you have loaded, neither briefing nor kneeboard, it does make sense to open it and check what you have loaded.
  23. Well, you have two options in the SMS page to your disposal. Which one being the correct one depends on which belt you have loaded via the rearming screen. Below is a screen which belt consists of which bullets. With that, you know which of the two options you have to select.
  24. And to make sure, you also selected the correct gun ammo type in the SMS page?
  25. "How to update the INS position during flight: - Tacan update: tune into an tacan station available in the tacan database (HSI->DATA->TCN). Press UPDT on HSI and select TCN. You can then choose to select ACPT or RJT, when clicking accept the INS position is updated. Approx 30 feet accuracy. - Waypoint fix: target designate your waypoint and fly over it's position on the map. It must be easy to recognize from the airplane, for instance the end of a runway, a special building etc. Your hud or HMD will most likeley show the waypoint has drifted off the real position. Press DSG before you fly over the point and ACPT the moment you are right above it. INS is now updated accordingly. - AUTO and MAP function is not implemented" From:
