  1. Once again, some woman who felt offended because of alleged "sexism". What does DCS have to do with gender in the first place? It's a computer software not a modelling agency. Women can download, install and use it just as easily as men can. I am all for gender equality but nowadays some people just go overboard with it and find ways to complain even in areas where things are fine. Yes, the community here is made up of a vast majority of men but it's the same thing IRL. I know this from talking to both civil and military pilots (ratio is around 9:1). If more women were interested in aviation they would certainly be better represented in DCS as well. That's it. How are men responsible for this?
  2. They did it so as to make the map smaller and avoid ending up with a 200GB download.
  3. It's funny I see this cause we were talking about the exact same thing with a friend yesterday. We wanted to do some flying there but apparently the scenery isn't modelled in very much detail which takes away some of the fun.
  4. Looks like you don't understand the whole purpose of FC3... Let me explain. FC3 is there to give you aircrafts that aren't modelled in depth but that are still modelled realistically.
  5. This year Tiger Meet livery for the Gazelle. 10 days of multilateral training in Poland have just begun.
  6. Here, this is what I would like to see
  7. Please ED, add the option in the controls menu. It's so badly needed for us hotas owners! Instead of making a 3 pos switch abstraction, an even better option would be adding a "only when key is held option". It would be perhaps easier to implement and would work with all controls.
  8. This goes against my experience flying the Ka-50 in DCS. We get engine and rotor icing when the air drops below 3°C if I recall correctly and regardless of the weather conditions.
  9. I don't have a source but it's something you can see for yourself in the sim. Take off in the A-10C with the Pitot heat off and climb. You will see that the pitot tube always freezes at a certain altitude (when the air drops below a certain temperature) no matter what the weather conditions are, be it high humidity in a thunderstorm near the sea or clear dry weather in the desert...
  10. Humidity is not modelled in DCS.
  11. As far as I know, they are still flying the Mirage 2000C-RDI at the EC 2/5 Ile-de-France. Current Mirage 2000-5F squadrons are EC 1/2 Cigognes and EC 3/11 Corse.
  12. Mirage F1C with refueling probe removed (1979)
  13. Brilliant job
  14. Can anyone please report this bug?
  15. Range depends a lot upon the altitude and speed at which you are flying. It could explain the discrepancies that you have found. Other than that I don't really see what could justify such vastly different results.
  16. Juste une petite faute de frappe qui est là depuis bien longtemps mais qui me dérange toujours autant à chaque fois que je la vois :)
  17. In the screenshot I took, the head position is actually too far aft. HUD looks great by moving just a little bit forward from this position. The top of the HUD might not show up completely but to be honest I don't know if it's supposed to be any different IRL.
  18. Mentionned here also https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202510

    Change my mind!

Su-25T isn't meant to dogfight anyway. It's like training drag racing against a minivan.
  20. I'd say 16GB of RAM are definitely needed for DCS so go for it whenever you can.
