  1. Thanks for trying the mission Shadow. I will re-fly it and join a track. Indeed, track sizes can vary a lot. For example, I had one recently (posted here) of only 28kb whereas the one from the last 104th Red Flag Multiplayer event I took part in was nearly 300mb. I would recommend using a cloud storage service and putting the download link in your post.
  2. At least the module is in better shape than the Hawk. We'll give them that. :music_whistling: :D
  3. Flew the mission very recently in 2.5 OB and didn't experience any issues on my end.
  4. Yes but as said earlier in the thread, we have had issues with it in NTTR as well. The game doesn't use contrast but basic object detection to lock targets so if nothing is done the bug will remain regardless of the map.
  5. I don't think he has a worn out button. My stick is in perfect condition and I'm having exactly the same problem as him. For those who want a track: well you don't need a track for now. Just try the instant action mission mentionned above (Medium West Georgia Winter) and tell me how it works for you. Lasvideo and I have had our AGM-65H consistently not getting a lock on this one. Then I will provide a track if necessary. Thank you.
  6. Clear weather, around noon. I don't remember the exact time. :D
  7. I've had some issues both in NTTR (DCS 2.1) and in Caucasus (DCS 2.5 Open Beta).
  8. Yes, it was. Sorry I should have made it more clear by quoting you. My bad, I meant Medium West Georgia Winter. It's the one in winter, the only one. The thing is, the problem doesn't occur on every flight for some reason. What I can say on my end is on some flights H model mavs were completely useless and on other flights they worked perfectly fine.
  9. Can you please try Russia Winter Hard Instant Action mission? In this one I couldn't lock tanks with the H model.
  10. I have already reported the issue here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203555 I haven't noticed any issues with the D variant but the AGM-65 H has problems for sure.
  11. Can we have animated buttons for the ins panel? Right now it feels extremely weird clicking them and having nothing moving. Thanks!
  12. The issue is.. it doesn't work fine even with the canopy down. Right now there are issues with things related to illumination, like the TGP IR pointer for example. Fortunately, the devs are aware of it and are currently working on it.
  13. For me it's running great in the current Open Beta build. I completed the entire mission yesterday and had no issues whatsoever. :)
  14. The red ones are perfectly fine imo.
  15. I set up a Patriot SAM array and ran a few tests with it. They all indicated missile guidance is completely bugged. I have attached a track showing the problem. sam patriot bug.trk
  16. Thanks for the quick reply Ranger but I just realised that I was using the mission file from DCS 1.5 in my 2.5 game. These Open Alpha and Beta versions are really starting to drive me nuts... My bad, sorry
  17. Here are the different G-limits according to the manual (p.257): Maximum G without pylons (with missiles on wingtip launchers) 7.3 ; -3 Maximum G with stores 6.5 ; -2 Maximum G with loaded external weapon stores and inboard external tanks (275 gallons) 4 ; -1.5
  18. Why are you providing a link to a shoe store?
  19. Mission 4 is completely broken on the current 2.5 Open Beta build. I get no dialogs, no triggers, nothing...

I think we will have to wait after the F-18 is released.
  21. Pitch SAS is designed to mitigate oscillations on the pitch axis. For example push the stick forward or aft and let it return to center abruptly. You will notice that the aircraft's nose will oscillate much less with pitch SAS turned on. Yaw SAS is there to keep the aircraft in coordinated flight for you ("keep the ball centered" if you will). As a result, switching off your SAS switches will not help the aircraft perform better in dogfights. About the aileron limiter: On the real F-5 stick, spring tension gets stiffer on the roll axis when the landing gear is retracted. The reason is simple: when you are flying fast, it helps you roll the aircraft more gently. Without it, the F-5 would be too sensitive in roll and harder to fly. Now in our virtual airplane, we don't have variable spring tension of course but the developers decided to simulate it by making the controls less sensitive in roll when the landing gear is retracted. What they call aileron limiter override is just a way to disable that feature. It can be a benefit in dogfights when in low speed and you need that extra responsiveness. Hope you got your answer. :)
  22. Yes you are expected to eliminate them all. It's not impossible, I've done it on the first attempt and without labels but I admit it can be difficult. If you're having trouble I'd recommend sticking to the default loadouts and order your flight to engage air defences. They should be able to make good use of their mavericks and get the job done very quickly.
  23. You probably haven't cleared the area of all targets. There are many air defence units occupying the roofs and they are sometimes hard to spot.
  24. 2.5 runs far better than 1.5 on my system as well. So yeah, most likely a problem on his end.
  25. Some things here do not look right like the rivets on the wing roots being too visible or the textures of the drop tanks.
