I'm running VR and have noticed several times that my RAM was hitting ~15GB out of the 16GB I currently have. I would say go for the 32GB if you can easily afford it.

It would be great if we had a system that let us play payware campaign missions in multiplayer. Right now it's hard to find proper MP scenarios and some people even put their DCS playing on a halt for this very reason. There are a few great missions out there that are free (for instance Operation Talon's Reach or Operation Bactria for the A-10C) but the offer is very limited. I can see a commercial advantage as well, as it would encourage many people to buy the campaigns.

Would be nice to have a gift system available directly on the store.

Using macros on your mouse / keyboard software perhaps?

I'm glad to see that the Strait of Hormuz is coming along nicely however I'm also eagerly awaiting news about an aircraft carrier for the F-18. It's a crucial element of the whole F-18 experience and I just can't wait to get a glimpse of the Hornet doing some high speed fly bys near the ship, catching wires and launching from the catapults. ED please tease us, give us something! :)

This is why I will probably stop buying their campaigns. I understand some bugs are difficult to correct but all they had to do here was change a few waypoints. It's stuff like this that I find unacceptable. Multiplayer is indeed the best way to enjoy DCS, I guess. Try to find good people to fly with.

Just install 2.5 stable and the installer will do all the work for you. You will end up with both the stable version and the open beta on your computer. You can then chose to uninstall the open beta if you wish.

Considering that Belsimtek modules come with a built-in profile for the hotas warthog, I would expect no less from the Hornet.

Pause it no, not really but you can always stop the download and re-launch the updater / repair tool later. It will automatically take it back from where you left.

Je sais qu'il y a la touche F11 qui te permet d'avoir une vue complètement libre mais son désavantage c'est qu'elle ne suit pas automatiquement l'avion. Elle part à chaque fois d'un aérodrome et il faut appuyer sur la touche pour les cycler jusqu'à tomber sur le plus proche, ensuite faire pause puis déplacer la vue manuellement...

They are completely different aircrafts. Wings, thrust, armament, systems, etc. It's as big of a difference as say between a F-4 and a F-15, perhaps even greater in some regards.

I can assure you that your motherboard didn't get any damage. It's impossible to cause an ESD by simply blowing air on something. Canned air has always been used for this purpose: clean computer parts easily without causing ESDs. I know what you're feeling man. I have the same stupid ocd. It bugs me everytime I get something new of value, especially tech stuff. The known complexity and sensitivity of electronic parts certainly doesn't help us achieve a peaceful mind...

It's an interesting finding but keep in mind that the dual seat variant should be considered as a different aircraft. Sometimes even the smallest airframe differences can have a noticeable impact.

Owning a Rift myself, I would personnaly wait for the next gen. Resolution is too low right now and it takes away from the immersion. Plus the glitches... which happen quite often. For example you boot up a game and you then realize the head tracking is warped. Then have to restart the PC for it to go away...

Yeah pretty much :D Just to add on that: it's located where you assign keybindings. Look for UI layer in the dropdown menu.

En fait cette petite fenêtre rouge t'indique la position de tes commandes (manche, mantte des gazs, palonnier). Je pense qu'ils t'ont demandé de l'activer pour voir si le problème ne vennait pas de ton joystick, qui pourrait faire des siennes :joystick:

I have never paid attention to this visitor count thing but it says my profile had over 9000 of them since it was created. Looks like the DCS community is much bigger than we think. :)

Salut l'ami, je te propose d'enregistrer une vidéo ou bien une track pour nous montrer le problème. J'ai pas mal volé en A-10C, y compris dans l'Open Beta et je ne vois pas comment ce que tu décris peut se produire...

Weird... from my perspective the Rift ear buds tend to lessen the volume difference :noexpression:

It does look cool. Never seen mixed reality in DCS so kudos for making it happen :thumbup:
