Depends on what you wanna do - Yak 52 comes without weapons and currently there are no plans to do a version with weapons. I don´t have the Yak 52 yet but the Spitfire is a damn nice plane! I´m sure the Yak 52 is fun as well but a bit restricted in its role being a trainer without weapons.

Do you maybe have double bindings on your rudder axis? edit: Just tried out a take off in the P-51 and I wasn´t able to recreate your problem.

I just started with the simplier airframes - WWII stuff, F-86 .. Got familiar with basic flight stuff and instruments. For this I watched some YouTube tutorials and did general research on the internet. After that I started to try a few different things like navigation, simplier weapons systems etc .. Just do one thing at a time and dont try to learn all at once. Start with the basic stuff and continue from there on.

Not entirely sure but you could check the module manager or start the editor and see if you can use WWII assets.

I've made good experiences with enermax PSUs - currently running a Platimax in my computer. Although only 600W as I currently run a GTX 970 .. thinking of upgrading to 1080 as well but I've got time. Not sure though if it would be enough combined with an i7 6700k (not OCed)

Hab zwar die M-2000, mich aber noch nie so richtig mit den Systemen beschäftigt. Bin immer nur so "rumgegurkt" :D Eignen sich die Trainingsmissionen und die Trainingskampage, um das Ding von Grund auf zu lernen? Oder brauchts da noch mehr? (Manual mal ausgenommen)

Recognized sound stuttering / cutouts today when flying over PG. It was in the F-18 flying close to the speed of sound and above. Also depending in where my head position in the cockpit was, the stuttering / cutout changed in frequency.

Definitely was - a shame that SH5 was such a disapointment. Need to check the modsection and see if there´s anything worth trying out now. Otherwise I might install SH3 with GWX again - not sure why but somehow I´m in the mood for a bit of u-boating :D

Already looking forward to it - although I think you are right with the technical part. Miss the good old SH3 times^^ Nontheless I think it will be fun :)

My display runs at 60Hz - also tried pausing TrackIR but it makes no difference. Also settings like trees, viewing distance, VSync etc don't influence the scenery stuttering by for me.

You were already able to order a Virpil throttle? Nice! Still waiting for an e-mail notification. Must have missed the order window because no matter when, I never was able to order a unit .. Sitting here with a X55 throttle which is almost falling apart .. lol .. :(

Did ED only decide recently to use Speed Tree in their maps? Seems a bit strange that even when Normandy is a 3rd party map there is no consistency in technology.

Got a X55 as well and same as for others here in this topic jittering on the rotaries is something I have to deal with. Besides that the primary throttle axis is starting to giving me troubles ... I am kinda disappointed although I like the layout and the number of buttons, switches and rotaries. Also made some poor experiences with Saitek pedals (broken wires as so many others) so personally I would never buy Saitek again.
