  1. You have always had to show your nose to get the FCR to scan correctly. Tried multiple times since the FCR came out to scan with just the radar dome exposed and it has never worked until now.
  2. All of the sudden when I tried to log into my account it is asking for a Google Authenticator. I never set up a authenticator for DCS login.
  3. Unplayable right now. Nothing is syncing except the FCR now. The TADS is jumping all over the place as the pilot when the CPG is using it. Weapons are not loading for CPG until they also load them. WP's are not syncing. I set a WP and it will show 40km, but for the CPG it shows over 100km or it will not show a WP at all for them. Completely broken right now.
  4. Is their a dedicated server patched for 2.9? On every server I tried last night everything in the server was ghosting, was unplayable. Thought it was DLSS at first, so when back to MSAA and it was still doing it. Guys walking on the Carrier were even ghosting.
  5. Delete and reinstall the module.
  6. When the pilot goes into a high G turn and the wings flex. They stay flexed for the WSO, making a constant head shake like the wing buffet from the turn, until touchdown. While on the ground we noticed the wings were still flexed up at the tips. Only in the WSO view. Pilot view looked normal.
  7. Just use the helmet's Sun Visor. Everything clear.
  8. As the title says. Constantly lose the cursor in VR, because it goes off screen.
  9. I don't understand what everyone is talking about. The FM is almost perfect. This is one of the easiest helicopters to fly in the game, besides the Gazelle. Gazelle is the easiest and the Apache is second. Only thing that is bad is the SAS going off all the time. Just move the stick over an inch and it goes off and I have a 20cm extension.
  10. Well this is a weird one. I have a started F-18 sim pit and I mapped the Apache pilot wipers to the ECM knob. When I switch it to the Park/Low/High position nothing happens. I don't see the switch move or the wipers start, but when I have a CPG, they see the wipers working correctly. If I use the mouse and switch the knob, I see the knob move and the wipers working. Only when I use the keybinding. It would appear that they are working, but the pilot does not see the animation, unless you use the mouse click on the knob.
  11. There is a keybind on the cyclic called FCS Release, make sure you unbind it. If you hit it all the trim is turned off. On startup select the UTIL on the Engine page, button T6, and make sure all of the trim on the left side is solid circles, except NOE/A. If these have open circles the trim is turned off and yes it is really hard to take off with the trim off. It is part of my checklist to make sure they are all on.
  12. Pilot can change the skin, but the CPG does not see the change. If CPG changes the skin, it will change the pilots skin back to default.
  13. In VR you just line up the circle like a target and put the little circle in the IHADSS on the bullseye. You have to do it from a natural position, just like in JSpidey's video.
  14. I have no problem seeing the George menu either, but I don't have the monocle on. As the real pilots said you don't see the monocle piece IRL anyway. It was in the way with VR. If you put the IHADSS in both eyes it is almost impossible to align it with boresight. You have to boresight it in between both eyes. It is best used with one eye.
  15. I think this last update messed something up on the G2. Had no problems until the patch yesterday.
  16. Will do Repair. Just updated my motherboard and CPU last week, so Nvidia drivers are brand new and updated on Tuesday.
  17. Since the patch today I am getting a lot of stutters in the G2. I was playing earlier before I patched and it was running as smooth as always. Nothing has changed except the new patch.
  18. Yeah Jself did a great job on the 3D printed F-18 cockpit. I started to do the OpenHornet build and had a few pieces already cut out of 3/4 inch oak plywood, so I used them for the cockpit build. I modified the OpenHornet build a little, since they are using MFD board. I cut down on the wood a little, of course this wood is a lot stronger. John's 3D prints were so good, I decided to just use his stuff and add to what I already had. This is just the start of my build. For the panels I used Rust-Oleum 2 and 1 fillable and sandable primer to fill in the 3D printer lines. Then painted it black and lightly sanded the lettering down with a 200 sanding brick. Next day it is a little warmer, I am going to put a flat clear coat on them. I still need to paint the wood of the pit also. Now John just needs to release his side panel plans, lol.
  19. Where are you getting the measurements of the panels?
  20. Only thing I would add to this. Use Rest-Oleum 2 in 1 Filler & Sandable Primer. It fills in all of the 3D print lines and makes it look like mold injection parts. Sand it then paint and use Matte Clear 2x UltraCover.
  21. Yes, it just goes onto the threads, just like the gas line threads.
  22. Use gas line thread sealer tape. It is like the sealer tape you use for plumbing but a little thicker. Plumbers tape is white and gas line is yellow.
  23. I don't understand why people can't fly the Gazelle it is one of the easiest Helis to fly. A lot easier to fly than the Huey. Are you guys not turning the trim system on?
  24. I bought them on the sale on Aug 14th. It took me awhile to get them setup but finally did. I got the mouse working with the index finger as a left click and the middle finger as a right click. Thumb pressure sensor I set to start/stop, so I could turn off the mouse emulation and use the HOTAS. The product is not 6DOF like the VR controllers and the Steam VR emulation is not very good either at this time. They are really hard to use in mouse emulation and my little $25 air mouse works better (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NL5VHBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I tried the Steam VR beta and could see the Vive controllers in the cliff house. The hands were backwards so the right hand moved the left. When I started DCS the hands corrected themselves, but they were all over the place and you could hardly do anything with them in the cockpit. So I got rid of the SteamVR and figured I would try the mouse emulation. It was a lot harder to use than my little air mouse. At this time I would not recommend buying them, not until they have full 6DOF like the VR controllers. If they had 6DOF and tracked your hand in the air like the controllers they would actually be good.
  25. I have a Samsung O+ and everything is perfect but the controllers. You can bind the controllers but there are phantom binds on it already you can not get rid of. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to unbind them.
