  1. That 5 year ago A-10C purchase paying off. YES! 2010 when I got that beauty. People who won't get that for free, we all can make you sure that the money given to ED is always good money. These guys deserves every penny. Even though I might not get red flag campaign with the pre purchase of the warthog, I'll be happy to buy it in the adequate time for me. Waiting immensely the multiplayer on nevada map......I'm freaking out!! It's happening!!!
  2. Check under Su-25T 'weapon' controls the command: 'weapon fire'. That's the one to fire missiles and your gun. I believe it's not like the F-15C that has gun and missile fire in separated key bindings. Post back if it's functioning. Welcome to forums! o7
  3. My money is so ready! That's some quality work.
  4. That's quite an old thread, bud. For the issue: PAC is really active only when guns are selected stand alone: pressing C and the complex reticle shows up. (I believe there's some older thread on this being clarified) Tested on the open beta build: 1.2.16.42796.8 Apparently no manual PAC switch on/off command on control settings as of last previous open beta build.
  5. This camo reminds me of Nevada NTTR map. So much anticipation. :joystick:
  6. Shout out to Coltrogue at last night flight's escort on the 51st Korean War server.
  7. Blooze, you're considering the pilot's FOV is the same as the wide FOV lens that camera has. There's no "realistic" fov in the video. "after one entered the DCS A-10C cockpit one would have to zoom out to achieve a more realistic FOV" I do agree with that. Yes, wider FOV will always increase the sense of speed as the further from the center of the image faster the objects move. A direct image to the right or to the left will display the maximum object speed you can see from the seat and so on.
  8. Funny thing. A long time ago, I was playing some novalogic's F-16 simulator: Time period simulator category valid but not for today standards. i.e.: speeds were correct to the aircraft type so, moving on. A friend of mine who used to play a lot of ace combat or whatever the arcade plane shooting infinite missiles 50+g experience was in playstation 1 at the time. I never really got into those madness of games but I understand that they were good. My friend, watching that f-16 at 5,000 ft told me the game was too slow. No matter how low I got he was never pleased, even when supersonic. Exporting arcade games feel towards simulation games causes underwhelm. If your brain is used to images of those 50+g turns and bullet like accelerations you would end up making a thread to raise the actual model speed of a simulator at a certain distance to the ground only because it "feels" right. Somethings to keep in mind: caucasus map is old, and even older in some sections (north portion). Speed sensation is caused by objects and detail surrounding your POV as pittlebelge very well explained. As being an OLD map, the mesh is not quite there and even the textures. Actual 10 meters on the actual 3d world and simulation registration might not even feel 2 meters because of the texture's pixel size. A-10s are SLOW. If it feels slow up high, is because the simulator is actually working. If it did feel fast as a F-15, I probably wouldn't be typing this today, got my money back in 2011 or forgotten about Eagle Dynamics even existed after FC2. This is the video you should "kind off" be looking the sim to match: For speed sensation: buy F-15 or the Su-27 stand alone and full throttle at 30 meters from the ground anywhere on the caucasus map. It gets me every time.
  9. Win 10 pro. 30h+ on dcs from it. Zero issues.
  10. some testing with basic exposure and gamma correction ajustments. PNG, quality 100% on the graphics.lua. I promise this is the last for now :P.
  11. Massive thank you! I didn't known it was possible.
  12. I would like that.....a lot. Output files through DCS default are very poor for full HD displaying.
  13. Unfortunately no sweet fx, cro_mig_21. I edited the lighting through photoshop. Exposure, Gama Correction and brush action on some things.
  14. A few over couple months multiplayer sessions. Testing image hosting too.
  15. If you were using More Visibility mod or something similar that changes LOD of objects and scenery make sure you check the visibility under DCS graphical options to Low Medium or High. With the mod it goes to blank and persists through further non clean installations. Happened to me last month over a new installation. Post if something changed.
  16. That's the thought I ended up with. Yes, F-15 aero design and powerplant does not able it to supercruise IRL. I was about to mention the 22, but would derail the point to some extent. If the modeling of transonic speed on the F-15s are on point, then there's no issue. That 1.0 + mach just caught me off guard. Cheers Cap'n.
  17. Good stuff. That's something good to try out! Thank you for the posts, guys. Looks like it was something new to be known by me. :smartass: S! good flying!
  18. yep, I was following that indicator, but I did not taken a screen of it. Mach 1.005 I believe with aircraft level and full armament and no bags. Strange thing is, last December I remember the aircraft struggling to pass .967 ish without burners. On currently version it does not happen.
  19. Ok, one night on 104th server I were returning to base in a F-15C with empty payload and 1/4 fuel without burners. Before I could notice, the plane went supersonic at 1.08 ish (afaik) mach below angels 20. I did recon that F-15Cs can not supercruise. Cool, and today I did some testing. 13.500 ft. Full weapons load consisting in: 6x AIM-120C, 2x AIM-9M. No bags. . Mach 1.0+ displayed through aircraft instruments. Edit: 1.010 through HUD. I shot two AIM-120Cs and the speed went up. 1.014 through HUD Two more 120s the speed went up even more. I did jettison all the missiles and kept almost all the fuel the 15c clean can carry and the speed went to 1.051 mach through HUD. Follows a track file and Tacview track file. Did I have missed anything? Is it normal to it's instruments show mach 1.0 plus without burners? I have searched and did not found nothing in this subject. Sorry if I did miss it. 20. Wow. They are amazing on 1.2, imagine on 1.5 with that composition. Great shots mate.
  21. If you're running on Intel integraded graphics you might run into issues for the most part or not able to run the sim at all. If you were able to play DCS before, try changing your videos settings back to where it worked. On a side note: No one should hope to run DCS with that video card without issues or at all. Get a dedicated video card that meets the requirements, the lock up might be caused by lack of video ram or processing power (happened to me with another game a while back with another CPU). It's a somewhat common behavior.
  22. Any change running it as administrator? Here's another workaround. Open: Your DCS folder/Mods/Aircraft/F-15C/bin and click on the protection app called f15_protect. Insert the key as prompted and finish the registration of the key. Launch DCS and try to fly the 15.
  23. Any luck trying to run DCS as administrator and trying to fly? DCS have prompted you to put the F-15C key before the lock up? If you are on steam, I don't know if steam version ask for keys.
