  1. No, their software- for now, is just a firmware configurator, where you can change buttons behavior, select modes... Is not a "keyboard emulator" software running in game background like used by other brands. But you can use the freeware Joystick Gremlin for keyboard emulation. https://whitemagic.github.io/JoystickGremlin/
  2. Replace the defective* HAT with one from Thrustmaster is the more practical option. Use this from L.Bodnar - or just the Alphs RKJXL switch without this PCB will require some physical modifications in throttle shells. Mouser.com has better HAT (Multi-directional Switch) but since are done for professional use, price is high: https://www.mouser.com/OTTO/Electromechanical/Switches/Multi-Directional-Switches/_/N-5g2z?P=1yyh514&Ns=Pricing|0 * Anyway this original HAT is just 4 micro-switches around a pole, is possible replace just the micro-switches (e.g. by OMRON) depends on DIY skill.
  3. Commercial USB controllers like Bodnar BU0836A/X, DSD 12... typically allow use: 8 analog axes - seems because practically all games follow this limit. VKB test their Njoy32 controller with 32 axes. 1 POV HAT - Direct Input allow 4, but most controllers and games keep using 1. 32 buttons - For compatibility, since this is the maximum visible in Windows Game Controllers, although Direct Input allow 128, most games follow this 32 limit. Exceptions DCS /X-Plane 128, IL-2:Bo'X 64. Buttons only version of controllers like Bodnar BBI64 and DSD 64 allow use 64 buttons or encoders, but no axes. Some "DIY" controllers firmware allow use up to 128 buttons (8 axes and 1 or 4 POV HAT), same custom code for Arduinos.
  4. Letiaga.ru has some models. E.g. This pair is see as one controller by Windows/games, 110 functions. http://www.letiaga.ru/home/panel-vvoda Other: 3 encoders with push button function 1 rotarie with 8 positions 1 potentiometer (analog axis) 4 three-position toggle switches with return (MON-OFF-MOM) 15 push buttons 4 ON-OFF toggle switches 2 three-position toggle switches ON-OFF-ON
  5. Inside 1st switch (with spring) are a dome cooper membrane, probable became defective and are not releasing after press, case want replace is OMROM B3F series, check size.
  6. :notify:  https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3760100#post3760100 :D
  7. MiG throttle? Need an "afterburner" "trigger". :D
  8. Not exactly F/A-18 but give you basic dimensions: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/39260ee06708b6ddf763d6b3dbff594120190207170132/b8a16ecdef018106bc2f959ad184432c20190207170132/89615d
  9. DSD has two models suitable for "flight games". https://derekspearedesigns.com/dsd-flight---flt1flt2.html
  10. You are correct... because there is no bearing involved in the issue, but a kind of Ball Plunger.:D That work - in throttle, more or less in this way: http://img.directindustry.com/images_di/photo-g/39718-8753832.jpg https://www.kippusa.com/us/en/Products/Spring-Plungers/Ball-Plungers.html Probable ball are not rolling... or instead ball are used a Slot Pin Plunger: https://fengxing.en.made-in-china.com/product/jyuxoOQCfaVh/China-Stainless-Steel-Hex-Slot-Pin-Plunger-Misumi-Standard-Ball-Plunger.html
  11. If change only name, Windows remember the latest due the Register entry created with VID/PID, so if want change name but no VID/PID need clear (Windows) Register entry first.
  12. Important notice that this 50mm restriction is when using VPC deskmount.
  13. Is now "history", the guy that keep that site up, an former(?) CH retailer, had switched to Warthog a good time ago - maybe an tip about what do. :D
  14. All CH's stick, rudder and throttle use the same CTS HP 100 potentiometer, linear (response) type B, 100 K. Exception is Quadrant, there is used small square plastic Bourns pot. The major difficult is the fact that in CH stick pot pole is part of gimbal - remove pot, gimbal fall apart. In my CH's mods I leave pot (steel) pole as part of gimbal, cut off the resistive trail support and glue the magnet needed for contactless sensor in pole end. In throttle, the grip is attached to a "drawer" that move a lever attached to throttle pole. The "drawer" seem from above. https://i.imgur.com/H8PLCua.jpg
  15. KG-12B (VKB): 1 Trigger (one stage) 1 Top button 1 Pinky button 1 POV HAT (4 buttons, 8 ways)
  16. VKB grip electronics don't work with Warthog base - use different buttons controller inside with proprietary firmware and use digital protocol in 3 wires interface. - The promised MCG grip Warthog base compatible was not released. Rest the option of remove VKB electronics and install an shift Register, will require PS2 connector in your adapter.
  17. I have not good news for you. MMjoy2 firmware don't support the Melexis 90333 "3D" HALL sensor used in Warthog - that is set for use digital mode through SPI connection. * MMjoy2 support only TLE5010/11 sensor in digital mode - SPI connection. All other contactless sensors supported by MMjoy2 - MagRez, KMA200... i/c only HALL sensor like Alegro A-1324 LUAT, Honeyweel SS495A1, use analog mode - 3 wires connection. * In SimHQ MMjoy2 topic are post of guy trying connect T.16000M sensor (same of Warthog) in MMJoy2, and report some success using MCP3202 ADC as interface, but the guy is not much informative about what he did and disappear from the topic.
  18. Maybe some Crosswind owners have oversight the pompous title of the topic, but OP are offering files for 3D Print "combat" pedals for Crosswind. ;) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229861
  19. DCS and Windows see whatever you set in MMJoySetup USB name, up do 10 characters, e. g MMJoy2 (default name), MyDIYStick... Sierra9999 :) When device is plugged Windows install using their HID drivers, or, is PnP.
  20. You problem is not in hardware (the switch), is in software (Bu0836 firmware), you can't change this. Maybe LynX Cub firmware for Arduinos do what you want, see features there: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2984894&postcount=156 http://lynx.dk/cub-firmware/ MMJoy2 for Arduino (ATMEGA43u4) can press a button when switch OFF>ON and another when switch ON>OFF, but this double button usage.
  21. No, because BU0836 firmware only send commands when a (ON-OFF) switch change status from OFF to ON, not when change from ON to OFF. Then you need, or edit LUA adding command for 0 state of controls or use an external 3rd part keympapper with "mapped on press" and "mapped on release" ability. E.g. Joy2key Joystick Gremlin SVMapper XPadder
  22. Set HALL sensor m/c only (Allegro, Honeyweel) are tricky and demand trial and error. How you are testing then? Just with HALL and magnets in hands? In this way don't work, you need HALL fixed, and magnet fixed in a supported turning axis without play. And the tune distance between magnet and sensor. And before test you need calibrate the axis in MMJoySetup (or Windows joy.cpl), even if you have set auto calibration in MMJoySetup, because when connect for first time sensor and magnets are not in optimal position. I use A1324 in a difficult place to fit with limited working angle for magnet, CH PRO Pedals brakes. At first I thought it would not work, very poor response in axes, but re-positioning sensor relative to magnet - the trick is match the "center" of both, and and decreasing the distance between then I achieve around 1000 poits of resolution in brake axis.
  23. No, if don't using axes inputs, you are just are increasing buttons matrix size and total of buttons number, not creating an different input type. Encoder are - for firmware, just 2 buttons, hence need be integrated in buttons matrix. Don't share Encoder left/right buttons (3) wires for their push button switch (2) wires, use exclusive wires for this push button switch.
  24. MMjoy2 firmware allow you use Arduino pins for axes or buttons input, but not both at the same time. If you are not using axes, in MMjoy2Setup change the pins set for axes input (AE) for buttons (BM) inputs.
