Can you get us some screenshots showing that these AA settings applied to SteamVR work correctly? I'd just test it but I'm at work :). That's pretty good thinking BTW IMO :)... Generally those settings don't apply to DCS... but applying them to Steam VR might be an interesting workaround for some stuff :). I like it if it works :).

Interesting... I have a 200Mb connection and from other places I get all of that and more (usually 27-30MB/s from Steam) but for DCS I've been at like 1.5-2MB/s for a long time now. At least since early this year. I had to do a full re-install the other day (Hornet UFC display bug) and I had to let it run overnight to get just Caucasus and Hornet to make sure the problem went away, then overnight to get the rest of the modules, then overnight again to get PG and Syria... Still haven't gone and downloaded Normandy, Channel and Nevada... I've tried pressing cancel to force HTTPS download but I get the same thing. I'll try that troubleshooter... -

So when approaching the bandit I had the switch off (Down pos), but radar locked. 9x slaved to the target so visually looked like it had a target. No tone at all. I fired, missile dropped via gravity. No tracking what so ever. I flipped the switch, immediate tone. Caged then uncaged seeker, fired. Missile tracked. On the other subject... Mavs were laser mavs. I was in A2A mode with RRSlave boxed. That's what gave me the TPod tracking on the bandit. From that point can I select mavs from stores page, uncage and rifle?

Yesterday a couple friends and I were on Hoggit and I decided to do a few gun runs on a factory. That didn't really work... but is relevant to the story... Later in the mission we chased down a pair of SU25Ts. I killed one with a 9x (I had fired my 120C earlier in the mission) and the other 9X hadn't locked because I'd forgot to cool them. So... To my point... I pulled in on this 25T, he turns and fires a missile at my friend (which I didn't call out because I just wasn't thinking... He could have avoided most likely...) and kills him. I was a bit peeved at myself for not helping to save my friend, and I only had guns (and Mavs...) left. I lined up this 25T and fired. Misses. I tried again. Misses. WTH. Not sure what's up... I've killed plenty of things with guns... Anyway... I fire a third time and two bullets also miss. My last two. Yikes. So I turn with the thing for a bit while switching to my lightening pod and trying to slew over the bird and point track... doesn't work of course... I finally realize I need to a2a him, then use RRSLV to slave the TGP to the radar and viola... I've got a laser aimed at an SU25T. So... Now how do I select one of my Mav's to fire it at this 25T?? I really would have liked to get that kill.

Isn't this already a thing?? I thought that we could already hear ATC/AAR etc for other people? Assuming they are on the same freq... So say when I'm refueling with my wing... I can constantly hear the aircraft say contact, return pre-contact, contact, break away, break away... When I'm at a runway as soon as I've got my radio tuned to the ATC freq I start getting comms for anyone at that runway that's also on that freq...

You indicate that an AA setting can be used in the NVidia Control Panel. As I recall it used to be that this setting has no effect on DCS in VR. Has this changed?

Same here... I love the idea of SRS but it's not always just plug and play. Also it doesn't ship with the game, so people have to go find it. It's much more likely they will find a server well before they find and install SRS. I get that SRS is relatively easy, but in game solutions would be better by default. So yeah... Hat in the ring :)... Any update?

I'll put my hat in this ring too... would be SUPER good if the mouse cursor did NOT move with the head in the cockpit.

I've had the A10 forever and never really got into it as I decided to put time into the Shark instead... The A10CII seems pretty great honestly but I find that one of its primary weaknesses, oddly enough, isn't "weak enough" :). By that I mean... It's Super effing slow. Like so slow I almost want to hop out and go get the Shark because there's not a lot left to learn in it and it's VERY effective. But... While I complain about it's speed... It's also not slow enough :). I can't stop and hide behind a building while my CAP sweeps :). Pick your poison :).

It depends on your settings. It is "universally" accepted (and by that I mean as much as that can happen on the internet... so like 50.1%) that enabling the settings to make VR Systems adjust framerate like you say is the best approach... but you can set it so it just runs at the framerate you can get. There are significant drawbacks to this visually as you might imagine... Also, yes... There is something wrong. I see "significant" drops in performance in MP. Don't even play it anymore unfortunately as it's my preferred way to play... but so is VR. So I play SP. As an example.... I raced the Edge540 and TF-51 in the recent VARS race series... One of the tracks was at AbuDahbi. Offline I get all the FPS, well over 45 but of course limited to 45. On the server, even with just me during practice or qualifying (and there aren't very many placed objects/units in the mission, but there is some lua code) I get 45 only if I crank all options down. Primarily view distance. I know that probably seems odd but in the same area of the map in SP, even with a significantly more complex mission... 45FPS.

I'm in the "I've got a great PC and a reverb and absolutely LOVE the experience" camp... Lemme ask you Wormeaten... Do you know where the primary bottleneck is in DCS VR??? Do you know why it's "unoptimized" as you say??? or is this just a feeling you have?
