  1. I attached them now. Sidewinder SOP Rev 3 04 Mar 20.pdf AFD-080619-069.pdf
  2. Not in the NTTR, but nearby in R-2508 there’s the Sidewinder Low Level track. The area is present in DCS, but in low detail. The East/Southern leg is ok-ish.
  3. As a member of the 476 vFG leadership, I would like to thank you for putting the "dry theory" of our TTP into practical use, and document that for others as a more practical example.
  4. To be fair: station 6 shouldn’t be used when station 5 & 7 are in use. So this is actually not a bug, but expected results.
  5. I just tried this out, but I don't see an error. What I did: Start mission at 08:30Z, WP1 is about 50NM away. Set the required TOT for WP in the CDU to 08:39 -> RIAS is showing a speed I might be able to handle Got to the DTOT adjust and set it to -00:01:00, effectively making my desired TOT a minute shorter (08:38). -> RIAS showing higher speeds Back to DTOT adjust, and set it to +00:01:00 . Now my DTOT for WP is 08:40 -> RIAS showing lower speeds. By the sounds of it, you interpret the DTOT Adjust as "The new DTOT". The value you enter there, is a correction to the existing DTOT in hours, minutes and seconds. Please post a track with you step in case I'm misunderstanding you.
  6. Yup, like Yurgon said: you never loaded the DSMS. You pressed the LOAD ALL button when it was not available yet. It only came available a split second before you went to the DSMS page.
  7. There’s no such thing as an IFFCC steerpoint. What you did was make IFFCC the SPI generator. Not new to the Hog II, always has been there.
  8. TMS AFT Short creates makes your SPI the predicted impact point of the weapon. SPI generator will display IFFCC.
  9. This was RL introduced in later suits. Those newer suits do not have MFD swap function anymore.
  10. Older suits did not have the function on the TGP display, that's why it also wasn't part of the original. Only when the HOTAS remap happened in newer suits, the function was introduced. Most RL videos you find of the TGP screen, do not have the B-S function in there. (I only found 1, and most newer videos have all the buttons grayed out.)
  11. There’s a trick for that: tell DSMS that both Mavericks are the same. Before you take off, you go in DSMS, INV, and you configure the Mavericks as the same type. So even if you are carrying a G and a K model, you set it in DSMS that they are both G models. When you’ve done that, the missile video will automatically switch when you fire one. And you can use missile step, to go from the one to the other.
  12. The clock shows ZULU (GMT) time by default. If you want it to show local time, you have to configure it on the time page in the CDU. (feature, not a bug) Using ZULU is easier to coordinate in some cases, as other jets only have ZULU. There is currently a bug where a prepared mission will screw up the clock on CDU startup.
  13. A prepared mission maybe? If so, remove the CDU folder from the miz file. Edit: reported for the "prepared" missions
  14. The thing is, when dropping weapons, your solution is going to take the set elevation into account. If you set it to a number "close enough" so you get the TGP into the general ballpark, you still can be a couple of hundred feet off. If you're then tipping in, CCIP on the target, your solution will be calculated on the number you entered, and you might see you're bombs missing big time. You want to hit the target? Make sure to the set elevation is correct.
  15. SEL rocker. you'll switch between manual entry and DTS.
  16. If you have DTS coverage in the area, there are better (accurate) methods to get the terrain elevation, instead of guessing the elevation of each waypoint. Fastest would be to drop a markpoint over the WP, and see what the elevation of the markpoint is. That elevation you then can set in the WP.
  17. When the jet is off map, there's no terrain data available, and DTS can't be used for elevation data. Normally, next to your distance to waypoint, you have DTS. That indicates that DTS is the source of the elevation data. When offmap, ther will be XXXX [/url] Without elevation data, you will get CCIP invalid indications when trying to do gun runs, bombing,... because the computer is missing that elevation data. Now, we can overcome this, to switch to HOT elevation (manual entry) A JTAC, FAC,... would give you this information. In DCS, you also could just grab it from the F-10 map. You enter it, by using the DATA rocker on the UFC, to switch to manual entry with the SEL(ect) rocker. You either type the number on the scratchpad and ENT(er) to put it in, or use the DATA rocker to go up/down to the correct elevation. in the screenshot below, I've set it to 670ft With the elevation set, you see that weapon delivery is possible again
