I know 'Viper' is a very commonly used nickname for the F-16, much more common then the official name 'Fighting Falcon'. But every time I see DCS: F-16C Viper it just feels weird. Any more votes to change the name to DCS: F-16C Fighting Falcon?

Why do people keep calling the F-35 the JSF? I dont see anybody calling the F-14 the VFX.

If it was not fully qualified to but it was able to carry them and launch them then I am fine with it personally. Its not always bad to skip some of the bureacracy ;)

Its not going to happen. According to VEAO themselves they had a contract with the British MOD. I highly doubt if the MOD would sign a contract with such a malicious company anyway. Next to that, VEAO themselves had suprisingly little know-how on how to develop for DCS. AFAIK their code was very bad and they had to hire external software developers to fix some things for them. In conclusion; the Tiffy probably never existed anywhere else then in their corrupted minds.

The MiG-19 released in a complete state as they promised. Bug-free is something else. Please speak for yourself and not as if you represent the whole community. Have a nice weekend.

Are you saying that you have real life flying hours in both models to be able to compare that to the sim or am I seeing things here?

The updater checks one a day automatically. If you have checked before the update was out you are out of luck and have to manually force a check from the updater. Google how to do it or search the forums.
